I don't mind paying for a great meal. But only two ounces of beef on the Stroganoff? Delicious but very expensive for those two bites of meat. Very nice restaurant with great food and service. But I do expect a little value for my money with so many local restaurants.

Great service. Owner was around making sure the guests were looked after. The pizza and the lasagna were really good

Have always liked the atmosphere at Monica's, whether indoors or outdoors in good weather. This is a regular eating out place for us as the food is always good, and portions are often generous enough to take leftovers home,

We have visited the restaurant after graduation with a group of 17 people. This wasn't the opinion of one person only, but the majority agreed that Monica's is way overrated! I would not recommend this restaurant to a friend. To expensive and food quality does not justify the price. Service was excellent, and waitress was very nice to deal with.

For maybe 7-8 years, this spot is a TOP choice for us whenever we are in Johnson County. As residents about a half-hour away, we find Monica's a comfort-food haven. The server staff is remarkably cheerful and attentive, as is their congenial manager, who makes the rounds with an "I really care" style. The Monica's philosophy seems to be "your... More

Monica's was everything I want in a restaurant. The service was just right. The restaurant was clean and had a good ambience with the style, seating, decor and music conducive to enjoying a good meal and time with friends. The menu was large and varied. I had black fettuccine with lobster--excellent. Check out the menu online before you go because it is... More

The food is always great at Monica's. The classics are, well, classic. Pastas and Italian dishes are terrific. Pizza is perfect. Amazing selection on the menu which is often something to be wary about but they seem to do everything well. Service is efficient and friendly too. Can't go wrong.

We provide great choices for everyone with our huge menu of over 90 items of American favorites or Italian Specialties, plus more than 4 dozen of them can be made gluten-free. The American menu items are mostly classics from the heartland such as Chicken Pot Pie, Beef Stroganoff, Meatloaf, Jambalaya and sandwiches headlined by a great custom-ground fresh Hamburger made with 3 cuts of Iowa beef for great flavor and juiciness.

The Italian Specialties include such tasty creations as Baked Ziti with Chicken and Shrimp, Lobster with Black Fettucine, Chicken and Spinach Ravioli, Chicken Balsamico, Baked Salmon, and Bruschetta, as well as several Panini's. We also have 10 Big Specialty Salads, many appetizer choices, homemade cupcakes and delectable desserts. We offer a full line of beers and wines, as well as a full bar. You can choose to sit in the room with tv's and a dining room without, as well as out on the patio. Thanks for visiting!
