We have been here once before several years ago, we really liked it and have been wanting to go back. We got the opportunity last Friday night after a High School Football game. We ordered the Family Special, a slab of ribs and a whole chicken. It was so good, we couldn't stop eating. They gave us packets of all... More

Last meal, closing tomorrow, moving to Cedar Rapids. I will miss the turkey. Sure wish they would make some Mac& Cheese.

Tonight was my first visit and I really enjoyed it. I got a sampler of meats and they have many sauces to try. I am very picky about bbq and Bandana's passes with flying colors. Staff was very friendly and Ariel my waitress made fantastic suggestions as well. Only sad thing was I discovered this location is closing o. August... More

Always delicious and the staff are friendly. Any issues are taken care of promptly and they handle large groups very well.

The food was very good, not a lot BBQ flavor that seems to overpower everything at some places. Portions were just right for lunch. Host was friendly and nice. Almost too sickeningly sweet and nice. If you have ever been seated or served by this type of person you know what I mean. The manager stopped by and asked how... More

Good BBQ. I recommend the ribs and the chicken. Lots of choices for sauce. Side dishes were excellent. Mediocre service.

The food was edible but bad barbq. Tough, no flavour but smoke, the place was empty. Perhaps it gets better when the college is in session??

My husband & I were passing through Coralville on our way home to Michigan and stopped to relax & have a bite of bbq. We were greeted very nicely and seated (around 12:10 pm) and waited, and waited, and waited. Two different young gentlemen waiters appeared in our area to wait/serve on others and not once were we looked at... More

Went here because I love BBQ and hadn't tried it yet. My wife and I went here for lunch and we tried a little bit of everything. Started out with the Brunswick Stew. I guess it's just different than the stew I've had in Georgia. This is thick with lots of sliced potatoes, corn of course, chicken and other vegetables.... More

Food was good - meat little dried out, but not bad. We had eaten at Hickory Park in Ames recently, they had more food for less money. However - this wasn't bad. The BBQ sauces were good. Service was good and very helpful in explaining their sauces.
