Good Carryout at Panda Lin

Another good go-to place for Chinese carryout. While it may not always replace our usual Chinese carryout place, it will definitely be on our list that is now two places long. The Hot Braised Chicken was different from most places I've tried and it was a refreshing change; I will surely order it again. My wife liked the egg rolls. Worth a try.

A little gem!!

This place really is a gem. They have something on the menu for everyone. Their pork fried rice is delicious and I love their steamed options!!! The building is small but there is still space if you want to eat in. But the carry out is always fresh and you can see them cooking the food when you come in. Everyone is very friendly and you can tell that they really do care about your experience. Why can't there be more family restaurants out there like this one. We recently moved across town but we will be driving back whenever the Chinese food craving hits. No other Chinese restaurant has measured up to this one. Try it today!!!! :)

Very very good Chinese place

It looks like a hole in the wall but it is AWESOME! Food is wonderful. My husband went and picked it up and when he got home it was still piping hot and fresh. They threw in some butter cookies for us to. Definitely my go to Chinese place when I need to satisfy my Chinese food craving. Huge selection of food. So happy I found this place!

Small ma/pa operation which usually means great food!

This place is really small. I think there are roughly 5 tables inside. Parking lot is very small as well. Service was FAST! We ordered the eggdrop/wonton soup and it was delicious! My son got the sesame chicken and the portion size was large although he felt there was too much breading and not enough chicken. He said it was good but he wouldn't go out of his way to get it when there are closer restaurants nearby us. This restaurant is minutes away from Mercy hospital so convenient if you are in that area for some reason. The menu looks fabulous and we'll be back to try out some of the seafood dishes!

We were driving to Geonetric building and my daughter asked to stop and try it. So glad we did. Really well done space, great addition to area. Good was fast and delicious. Huge menu. Ragoons were best we have ever had for real. Everyone so friendly. We sat outside and mom and son came out and asked how everything was. When we left the dad was outside and smiled and waved. I hope people support this family run restaurant. It was truly the best Chinese food I have had in Cedar Rapids, esp for the reasonable lunch prices

Where did this place come from?

To be fair, the actual name of this place is Panda Lin. I was very pleasantly surprised to find this little gem of Chinese restaurants here in Cedar Rapids. They offer over 215 menu items. All of them cooked to order and all of them delicious with your choice of many items. Most come with either fried or white steamed rice. Most menu items are between five and ten dollars. Barely any sitting area(except for outside) but what they DO offer is by far, hands down the BEST Chinese food experience I have ever eaten. Their lunch special offered between 1030am until 3pm is: One entree with choice of rice; egg roll or twp pieces of crab rangoon for a small fee. All depends on what that menu item is so I couldn't give you an exact price. What they DO offer is food and plenty of it. Bring your appetite as this place by far is the BEST. Even their soup comes with fried noodles. Call ahead or do what I did and stop by for your own personal experience. Eat up Cedar Rapids; this place is awesome! In my opinion, of course.

Great new Chinese restaurant in Cedar Rapids!

This is one great new family-run Chinese restaurant. Dad cooks, mom assists and the kids are always close by. I found it my favorite way...driving by at suppertime and catching a smell as I drive by. Man, I turned right around and went in! You can order to eat there or take-out, the prices are reasonable, the menu is extensive, and the portions are enough for anyone. I had the #207 Happy Family and ended up going back two nights later for the #201 Orange Chicken. Highly recommended!
