At BurgerFiend, we pride ourselves in the quality of our ingredients, with more than 20 toppings and spreads available. Our burgers are made from never frozen USDA Choice Angus Beef, that is ground fresh daily in house. We attract burger aficionados from all of Eastern Iowa including Cedar Rapids, Marion, Iowa City, Waterloo, Cedar Falls, Coralville, North Liberty and beyond.

Excited they are open again here on 2020 16th Ave SW! Delicious food with good quality ingredients. Best gyro in town! Shout out to whoever makes the food for the freezer as well: Stuffed cabbage, kibbie, baklava, humus, 2 types of pita bread (who does that)!! Very nice folks. Let's support these guys & keep them in Cedar Rapids forever!

Best burgers in Iowa (no kidding!)

Best-kept secret in town! This place should definitely win 'Best Burger in Iowa'. The food is outstanding and reasonably priced. Atmosphere somewhat understated. You pay for the basic (100% angus!) burger and then select a bunch of delicious toppings (including grilled onions, my fave) for no extra charge! The sides are fresh-made, generously portioned and tasty. Well worth checking out--and worth coming back to time and again!

Great Food

We went last night for my husband’s birthday- his choice. Having never been here before my family was all excited to try it. I ordered a pizza, as did my husband. Both of my boys ordered burgers. The boys burgers came out super quickly, so quickly that they were entirely done eating by the time the pizza was done and brought out. Therefore, my kids had to wait and watch their parents eat. That would be my only negative about the entire restaurant- I don’t understand bringing food out separately for people who are in the same party. It was a good 15 minutes before the pizzas were done after the burgers were brought out. The person who took our order also forgot to give us a number so they had to wander around until they found us. I will say though, my boys said the burgers were amazing and both my husband and I loved our pizza. I had the chicken Alfredo pizza and brought half of it home. Very reasonably priced and very delicious.

Great 'Burgers and Fries

This is one of the best places to come for a hamburger and fries lunch or dinner. The hamburger is fresh not frozen the fries are hand cut there is a big difference in the flavor when things are fresh. All that and the topping options leave nothing out.

Juicy Burgers

I have a cheeseburger, fries, and a shake. The burger was juicy, the fries were seasoned just right (could tell they were freshly cut), and the shake was nice and thick. The staff was experimenting with dessert pizza recipes and offered some to those who were eating at the time. Trying to be creative, but I haven't been back to see if that specific treat made it to the menu. Good place to go if looking for a classic burger and fries that doesn't break the bank. Place was clean.

Omg best bacon cheeseburger EVER

Went here on a whim cause we wanted a cheeseburger and it looked like a good option.... boy were we right!!!!! The fact that the bacon is IN the meat makes it extra delicious .... next time we are in the area we will be stopping

Umm-Mazing burgers!!!! Honestly, I felt like I was 16 again. And that was 50 years ago. This is what a burger and fries used to taste like. Meat to the edge of the bun, thin enough to cook well, but thick enough for flavor. Fries hand cut and browned crispy. Shake the perfect size. I could not do justice to the small fries. I ordered Jr. Size, but manager compted me the small. I ordered a slice of onion, and got a real slice, not just a couple of rings.

Stay away

Went for first time. Burger was undercooked we asked for replacement. The took same burger off bun and smash cooked it so outside was burned inside done now. Was a hair in my fries as well went back to counter and said you guys have to better than This. They asked what now showed them hair and wouldn't replace so we left horrible products horrible customer service.

I think they are now called Burger feen due to copyright concern. Great food, very allergy friendly. Worth the cost and HUGE servings of fries.

Good but not the best.

We were looking for a new place to have dinner and ended up here. The burger was tasty but a bit over cooked for me. I had the regular burger and my husband had the bacon burger. He loved his. I am a huge fan of hand cut fries, but I was disappointed by these. They had no seasoning on them. They were very bland. I couldn't add enough salt because it wouldn't stick. That is a weird thing for me to say since I never salt my food. It was a busy place so I am hoping I had a fluke experience. I always support local non-chain restaurants in Cedar Rapids since it has taken so long to get choices.

Great burger

This is a great place for a burger and fries. The restaurant was very clean and the workers were well mannered and clean! Love the options for building your own burgers! Would recommend this place to anyone looking for a freshly cooked burger and hand cut fries!

The burgers are far better then the fast food chains. They are large and offer many different types of toppings. The shakes are very good as well.

Greasy fries, better burger

We came on a Friday night. The restaurant was busy but we received quick service. The bacon was ground in to the hamburger which made it almost unnoticeable. Otherwise, the hamburger was pretty good. The french fries would have been better if they had been cooked longer as they were not crispy. All in all it was a fine experience but I don't think we will make this a regular place.
