Stopped for lunch on way through Cedar Rapids. BLT and Salmon BLT were very good. Great setting to take a break especially during a long drive.

Our amazing server explained to me what quinoa is and how they prepared it (and how to pronounce it!). It was obviously my first time to try it, and it was so yummy!! My husband's steel-cut oats were also expertly prepared. Our server was attentive, courteous and very helpful. All in all, a delightful experience.

Ate here for lunch before a work meeting and had a wonderful brunch. Greeted by a kind server who walked us through the menu. My dining companion was gluten free and they were completely accommodating, even changing their fry oil for her side. I tried the brunch burger, a beautiful stack of sourdough bread, bacon, potato pancake, a tasty burger... More

The presentation is very good and the staff courteous and attentive. Scallops for the appetiser were perfectly cooked, but as a dish it was spoiled by the intense vinegar taste of the base. Main courses--chicken pot pie, scallop pasta, and rainbow trout were spectacular and flavourful, but more astronomically priced--more expensive than if I'd had the same thing at home... More

My daughter and I went to Class Act on May 28th to enjoy lunch on their outdoor patio. The manager was watching the radar and saw that a thunderstorm was heading our way so they suggested we move inside. Our server, Ryan, was so sweet about moving us in and then did an amazing job serving us our lunch, dessert... More

We used to enjoy special evenings at the place sort of known for fine dining, plating cuisine and good if a bit awkward student service. Our last dinner with large group of friends was very disappointing. The menu is minimal. The service was unusually slow and there was insufficient help for the number of diners at our table. Only two other tables... More

I rarely write reviews but I felt I had to in this case as it was well under my groups expectations. First off the service was good, but that was where the magic ended as I'm pretty sure the chief had the night off as everything that came out of the kitchen was off. Over cooked, poorly seasoned starters. Mains... More

We thoroughly enjoyed our experience at this 'teaching' restaurant connected to Kirkwood Community College. The restaurant is adjacent the school's hotel, which also serves as a teaching environment for their hospitality program. The physical space is well-designed and appealing, and the menu - we had brunch - was terrific, with a nice diversity of options. Stars in our book were... More

for breakfast have the bacon because you have forgotten why it's sooo good. For dinner, trust me, just have the most perfect pork chop you will ever have.

A quiet restaurant with a modern twist. Though the menu had limited options they were unique such as a shrimp po-boy sandwich or rabbit stew. Careful with your drink order as we selected a couple of "nightly specials" only to learn they were $12 each.
