Returned after about 2 years. {We all know why the break.} My bride hade a lunch plated special and I had sushi. Just as great as before, or maybe even a little better. Very upset about how they handled a messed up order. We placed an order for delivery of a dinner chicken hibachi ($17.95) and 5 sushi rolls. Once we got our order I realized we didn’t get any fried rice with the hibachi order. Normally I...wouldn’t really care about something so minimal but if I’m like most people, hibachi isn’t really the same without the rice. I called the restaurant wondering what could be done. I’m not sure what I expected, but I at least expected them to care. They questioned me at first and asked me to double check. They didn’t believe me. Then they offered for me to drive there and pick up the fried rice, I explained that we ordered delivery for a reason. They then offered to refund me $2.50 on our $87 order. I told them don’t bother. Then they offered a discount of 5% off of the next order we place. I also said don’t bother because we will not be back. This is a place we frequent on special occasions. This was a planned meal for our anniversary. I am very disappointed the lack of service from this restaurant. Again, rice alone isn’t that big of a deal but I expected to be treated better when the meal I ordered wasn’t delivered. Also, the sushi was cold (we ordered cook and fried sushi).More
Our group had reservations and were promptly seated. The service was very good and the food at expectation. An enjoyable evening except we were staring at a very large TV. We asked 3 times for it to be turned off. The manager said other patrons...were watching it. I can guarantee you no one was watching it. A huge distraction for an otherwise nice place. They must think they are a sports bar.More
Favorite place to go for sushi. Service is always excellent...never wait for drink refills. Decent beer and sake selection and great sushi. Other things on the menu and option for Hibachi grill as well.
I took our whole extended family here. Most of the children had never seen a hibachi chef perform. I think we got the best chef in the place... He was a true master of the art. The food was excellent and, the service was too.....We took our 8 month old Grand Daughter and she was enjoying the whole thing. A bit afraid of the flames but, she got used to it.. I highly recommend for a FUN family night out.More
We had three little children with us. Waited 40 minutes before being seated, not because it was busy but because they only have one chef. The food was as expected but the service and cleanliness was terrible. Opinion to establishment- Have more than one teppanyaki...chef.More

We asked for seating around the Japanese grill for my son's birthday. The service was entertaining and the food was good. My son was really happy with the dinner. We brought a birthday cake for dessert and they couldn't have been more helpful.
Love love its stir-fried rice. Maybe it's rice and soy sauce is good; its stir-fried rice is the best. The flavor is authentic.
Not sure I’d trust the sashimi this far from he coast ( I am very fussy about my fish!) I visited this restaurant and ordered their Suki Yaki. I’ve had much better in many places outside of Japan. The bowl was served very hot but...had an odd taste. Most Suki Yaki is sweet, this was a bit bitter but I ate it all. The restaurant is very dark, I needed the flashlight on my phone to read the menu. If in the area again I will skip this joint.More
I've been here twice. Both times service was good. We opted for sushi and it was great both times. Definitely recommend.

I usually don't repeat restaurants when visiting a new city, however this restaurant is a good reason to break the rule. The food is delicious and the attention is polite and on time. not to mention that the way is organized gives a nice touch...to enjoy. if you like Japanese food don't miss this place.More
Wife and I went on a date night. Atmosphere was quiet. Had the Hibachi meals and the chef at our table, Taylor was his name, made it a very fun and pleasant experience.
We went to Oyama for sushi, expecting a clean clear atmosphere of a sushi place. The place smelled of frying oil, because they also had a hibachi section. The lighting is inadequate, especially for a sushi pace where you'd like to see your fish to...make sure it's fresh. Nigiri was ok, but the Cali rolls were a bit soggy. The service was friendly and on time. But the gloom in the place took away much from the experience.More
