STARBECK'S SMOKEHOUSE, Cedar Falls

Starbeck's has excellent BBQ and great side dishes. We love the pulled pork and burnt ends along with mac and cheese, hand cut fries and their signature cornbread! If you haven't tried it, you should. You won't be disappointed!

Amazing catering for a large neighborhood picnic

Our neighborhood association made arrangements for 100+ people to have a picnic for the Aug. 6th Neighborhood Night Out celebration. Starbeck’s Smokehouse provided us with a fabulous, moderately priced barbecue dinner! We had a large pan of pulled pork which was tender, juicy, and lean....Several BBQ sauces, condiments, bread and buns were included. Starbeck’s, also, provided hamburgers, cheese burgers, hot dogs, and brats (which I’m not even sure they have on their usual menu). We got a large pan of macaroni and cheese and baked beans which were scrumptious! Their potato salad was very delicious! And, I can’t get over how wonderfully sweet, moist, and tasty their corn muffins were! They set up the tables precisely in the right amount of time for our event; Including, sturdy plates and plastic utensils. Everything was delightfully presented with an attractive table-scape including a cute rustic flying pig decorative piece. I can’t say enough good things about this awesome business! If you're looking for a caterer and you love BBQ, this is your place!More

Amazing food!

We stopped here before a game not really knowing what it was but felt BBQ would be good. Menu is small, place is smaller but the food is hugely good! Loved the meat, the bread, the fries, the mac and cheese and the cornbread. Usually...one of those things is ok but not great but here was awesome for all! In and out in 10 minutes fed the whole family and we were stuffed! Not a lot of room to sit but the food definitely made up for that!More

Delicious!

Tasty BBQ! I got pulled pork sandwich with potato salad, baked beans & cornbread. My dad got the BBQ ham sandwich with same sides. We shared cheese curds. All was delicious. Corn bread was my favorite part - sweet & rich. The baked beans have...a kick - they’re kink of like chili. Restaurant has a small amount of seating. We took our food to go. Employees were very nice. I’ll be back next time I’m in Cedar Falls.More

Excellent Bbq

Had the BEST Philly Cheese Steak sandwich. Served with a side (I got the Mac and cheese to die for!!) and pop for only $7. AWESOME!! Good home cookin BBQ with a friendly environment with cute decor. Really makes me feel like I’m at home.

I thought the sign said Starbucks!

Look it's hard to mess up BBQ. Like Pizza even when it's bad it's good. Starbeck's is very good. Smallish area to eat in but the aroma that hits you when you walk in the door is great smallish sides and baked beans that are...more chili like then bean was different. The mac&cheese again small but really good. Our lunch time meat was very moist and plenty of it.More

Some good barbecue on a cold Winter's Night

Starbucks is a Class Act BBQ Smokehouse. I have ate BBQ all over the great United States of America, when Starbucks stands with the best. They're Burnt End sandwich is some of the best barbecue I've ever had.

Great BBQ Great Value

Best BBQ in the Wloo Cedar Falls area. Pork, Turkey. Brisket. Burnt Ends are all wonderful. Good sized portions for a fair price. Fries and Corn Bread are great also

Mediocre

Unfortunately, the one time I ate here last summer, the ribs were not only expensive - but they were dry, tough and lacked flavor. I was thoroughly disappointed. Would not recommend.

Hands down the best BBQ

My wife and I enjoy our BBQ. We were driving through Cedar Falls on our way home and thought we would stop. Small place w/ counter seating. Your order at the counter and they bring food to you. Baked beans - amazing. Potato salad -...out of this world. Ribs fall off the bone. Burnt Ends - to die for. Hot link sausage was too spicy for my wife, but the best I've had. Turkey at almost all BBQ places is dry...not here. So moist and flavorful!!! I'm not exagerating when I say this place was the best BBQ I've ever eaten. Thank you. Also, staff was great -friendly and helpful.More
