We came in for lunch. Our waitress was kind and very attentive of us. Their menu is full of options for even the pickiest of eaters. Everything we ordered was excellent. It came out hot and fast! Will defiantly come back!!!
We had a group of 19 guys from Des Moines converge on this place last night with only 15 minutes notice after we were turned down for seating by the BBQ place up town. The staff at Colorado Grill really took good care of us!...The gave us the whole patio area, bringing in the extra chairs needed to accommodate this large group.
We were all amazed at the quality and quantity of the food here. The wide variety of unique burgers and the gynormous tenderloins were a big hit with our group of guys out for an evening bike ride.
We’ll be back again. Deserves the five stars!!More
After driving to Boone to check out the antique stores we decided to eat here vs driving back to Ames. Not desiring fast food I saw this grill and it looked worth checking out. Besides I love CO! It was nicer than I expected it...to be inside. They have many options on the menu, all with good prices. My friend and I enjoyed our meals, I had hot beef he had black diamond pita.More
We have tried this place once a year for a very long time and always come away with mixed feelings. The only thing that has always remained the same is the slow service. Thood can be good but not reliably so. The chicken alfredo tonight...was good but the burger was too raw to eat.More
Went here on the recommendation of a local for "good burgers", and we are glad we did. The Backblaze had a good amount of heat and was made at exactly the medium rare that I requested. My wife had the Bacon Cheddar BBQ, which was...cooked to her expected medium-well. Top marks there for kitchen execution.
They had a few Iowa beers on tap, but otherwise a typical small restaurant bar selection.
Both of us commented that based on the outside appearance of the place, we wouldn't have picked it as our first choice. Just goes to show you that there are hidden gems everywhere.More
Our party of 5 visited on a Fri evening. We did not have to wait for a table in a side room. Our waitress was cordial and capable. The food was very good. The place was
quite busy, but it was not too noisy to...have good conversation. The menu had many good choices to make.More
