This is a basic restaurant with burgers, sandwiches and breakfasts. What makes this place worth visiting is that they do these things well. I'm not from the area and saw a regional favorite, a pork tenderloin sandwich, on the menu. Was also interested in the all day breakfasts, but can't get the tenderloin sandwich where I live. I was enjoying... More

If you go to this student town home of Purdue University someone will take you to know this classic place. Honestly, if I come back to Triple XXX I would do it only for the ambiance and the diner feeling, not necessarily for the food.

If you watch Diners, Drive Ins & Dives then you know that Guy calls it like he sees it and he is right on with the Triple XXX. The Triple XXX looks like a college hang out but it's actually a great stop off the beaten highway too. We stopped by on the way back to Southern Indiana after a... More

My husband and I live about 2 1/2 hours from West Lafayette but we spent the weekend in Chicago and decided to stop here because we saw it mentioned in a magazine about the Hoosier bicentennial. This is a true diner. The only seating is counterpoint except for a few outside metal picnic tables. The service was friendly and fast.... More

Glad we went here as this seems to be a West Lafayette institution. Service was friendly and since we were here during the off season (summer), it wasn't crowded at all. Loved the time warp interior with the wrap around counters. Not a great place for large groups as there are no interior tables and all seats are counter seats.... More

Great food, hot filling. Friendly staff. Fast service. Building small but we ate outside on the patio.

If you're looking for an authentic family atmosphere, look no further. The food was good and the root beer off the chart! Hope to return some day. Helpful Hint: bring cash; and if you want an inside seat, bring patience.

We read that this was a good pit stop between Indianapolis and Chicago. So glad we went! Great burgers, shakes, and best root beer for miles! Featured on the food network.

Outstanding breakfast. Biscuits and gravy was better than my Indiana grandmother. Return for lunch for the root beer and a pork tenderloin sandwich. Food and strive was outstanding.

We loved to counter only seating. The breaded tenderloin, onion rings and frosty mug root beer made for a perfect meal. The 1/4 lb burger was a little small, so choose something bigger! The breakfast foods looked very tasty. Will definitely return. This is a cash only restaurant, so go prepared.
