We're a bit of Baba Ghanouj snobs. Got spoiled by a couple of restaurants where only the mother's were allowed to make the dish and from fresh eggplant adjusting for each eggplant. That's what Blue Nile must be doing as the Baba Ghanouj was excellent. My next favorite dish was the Maklouba fried vegetables. It didn't sound good but I... More

We were in town for a conference at Purdue and wanted Mediterranean food, so we checked out TripAdvisor and read about Blue Nile. When we decided to check it out, we weren't sure we were in the right place since there was a hookah lounge called the Egyptian Cafe. We went in and checked out the menu and decided that... More

This is one of my favorite places to eat in West Lafayette. The owners are very friendly and I find the food to be flavorful and filling. Occasionally there are issues with the service (food too slow to come out or you have to wait awhile to place your order), but I still love coming back. The combo kebab dinner... More

When ever we need a Middle East Food fix, this is the place we come. The atmosphere is homey, the food outstanding and the price is reasonable, especially for the combo plates. Plan to take home a doggy, bag, but then eat it yourself and give the dog, dog food. Sure the dog will cry, but it is worth it.

Mediterranean food. Filling and worth the money in case of non vegetarians. A different cuisine among the available options in the campus.

I have eaten at Blue Nile several times for weekday lunches. Typically, service can be a little slow, but that is the pace of the restaurant. Today, it was slow. (If you want your check, proceed to the cash register or you may wait a while!) The food is good. I ate the fattoush, which I highly recommend for salad.... More

Had been there some years ago, but happily returned with my wife while visiting our old Boiler haunts. Was very pleased with the lamb biryani (tender, spicy lamb cubes on basmati rice.) A half-order with lentil soup was plenty (with obligatory baklava after, of course.) The owner/server/hostess is very friendly & hospitable. This dish was delicious and served piping hot... More

I like Mediterranean food a lot. This is a small place, and not very crowded, not on the street either. The food portion is big, and many dishes you should definitely try out. It is a family business, so you don't have that kind of

Food is very good. Mom and Pop place run well and some unique choices. We had a Celiac, vegetarian, a 1.5 year old and myself in our party. Everyone ate well with two to go boxes for late night snacks. If you would like your Mediterranean food hotter than mild, just ask and they will make it. Not a fancy... More
