The attention to detail is over the top. Beautiful decor inside and out. Food was GREAT! We got pretzel sticks with cheese dip, the pot roast and their chicken fried chicken was amazing!!! The dessert was apple pie a la mode for dessert! It’s probably...the most enjoyable dining experience we have had this trip. Staff was friendly and informative.More

The menu has some familiar dishes but also some unusual combinations, and it's a child-friendly, lively place. Interesting decor and an LGB train to watch. Good service--server kept track of 9 of us including children. It can be crowded and get a little noisy, so...it's not a place for serious conversations, but food was very good. My first time there.More

I've been here a lot in the last year. Burger selection is smaller than Burgerhaus (also in Valpo), but the prices are better and the atmosphere is fun. Was here with my husband and son today, and had the Industrial Revolution burger, medium, with garlic...fries. The burger was perfectly cooked, the fries very good, and I asked for a side of garlic aioli (which was .75) because my friend had it when I was here last and it really enhanced the fries. Don't like the sweet potato fries, but my son ate them up, but he's on a health kick. My hubby had the chicken-fried chicken, and loved both the meat and the potatoes, which were warm. That's harder to get at a restaurant than you think. We've been to lots of places where the taters are cold and they just slap meat on it, hoping that warms it up. Not here. He ended the meal with a pumpkin pie, and I was dubious when we saw it, because it looked weird on top. But after sampling it, I realized that was a sprinkle of spice, and the pie itself was very tasty, spicy and delicious, just like I like it. I make an awesome pumpkin pie (James Beard recipe) and have for years, but I thought this pie was better than the recipe of that famous chef. Service was pretty good and attentive until it got busy (we came just when it opened) and I ended up paying $71, which was for 3 meals, 2 fountain drinks, and a dessert. That's pretty good these days, because usually when my son comes with us, we end up spending over $100. I know we did last time at Burgerhaus. Minus the tip, that's about $19 a person, which isn't crazy these days when McDonald's meals are just under 10. Very happy with the quality of the meal and I'll keep going here whenever I'd like a good meal and a good conversation, since it isn't overly loud at all. Parking lot is the worst part of the experience.More

Very cool interior with running model train. You can also find individual metal workers throughout. The vegetarian option is homemade blackbean patty on any burger variations. Hightop, tables, and booths available. Staff is SUPER friendly.

We love the atmosphere here (they call it "upscale industrial"), paying tribute to industry throughout history. The food is great, modern tasty recipes. We stop by for a meal whenever we pass through the area; it's just 10 miles off the turnpike. Check it out!

Food in add no longer available and food quality does not live up to advertising of the product and manager would not adjust accordingly to the poor quality of the food! I would not recommend this place! The pork roast was tougher than shoe leather!

We took our son mainly to see the train running, it happened to be broken that day (this is our luck). Our burgers did not have any flavor, plenty of toppings but very bland. Service was mediocre but food was ready quick. Very neat decor...and atmosphere.More

Went yesterday to bid an old childhood buddy goodbye before she leaves for Arizona. They seated me as one person waiting for another without making a face, and Amanda, my waitress, did not rush us either at the beginning or end of the meal. I...had the Industrial Burger ($13.95) and my friend the Garlic Parmesan Burger (same price) although she ordered hers medium rare, and I got mine medium. Mine had no pink at all, but I had learned from many lunches at the Burgerhaus not to order rare, since they keep theirs bloody. That was not the problem here. My friend's burger was nice with a touch of pink, so next time I'll order medium rare. We both had a side of Garlic Mayo ($1.50) for our wedge potato fries, but they were excellent. I'm not usually a fry gal, but these were so good, crispy on the outside and soft inside. The Aioli was also worth the price, even though I also got a dish of ketchup (not on the tables) for the fries in case it was too garlicky. With 2 diet Pepsi's ($5.50 for both), our total was just under $37 with tax, once again lower than I'm used to paying at Burgerhaus. My burger was not as juicy, and not as large, but I really appreciated being able to hear my friend talk and we were able to exchange gifts and not feel like we were laggards. Altogether very satisfied with the experience.More

waitress was awful and lazy. Had to ask for water over and over. Came with large party and she stood at one end of table and yelled to us at other end for our orders. Lazy lazy lazy. Food was ok, but not worth the...price asked. Better flavor at Wendys for hamburger. Drink was watered down and weak. AND COSTLY! over crowded and loud. Will not returnMore

We were en route to a wedding, observing Covid-safety protocols. The staff at Industrial Revolution prepared a delicious take-out meal for us. I highly recommend any burger on a portobello mushroom "bun."

Stand alone American fare grill next to Valparaiso University that has Everyman appeal My wife loved the Stuffed Smoked Bacon burger , while I rhapsodized about the pulled pork sandwich. Both were too big and tasty for us to finish and still have room for...their signature IR cookie Skillet dessert - also big enough for two! Excellent Midwest microbrews too. Garlic encrusted fries and sweet potatoes fries both worth a trip alone. Best of all our knowledgeable funny server Dawn. A great asset to a great American restaurant.More
