On student orientation trip with our daughter at ISU. Student leader told us this was good so we tried it. Small local Mexican food in great walking area. Order at counter and get exactly what you want. Food was excellent and they had $1.99 margaritas...the day I went. I would go back in a heartbeat but not a fancy restaurant by any means. I got steak nachos.More

This Mexican spot downtown is a good place for a quick bite. Think of it as a local Qdoba or Moe's. you go to the counter, say what you want and the worker puts it together for you. I think it has grown into a...reputation of being a place to go after the bars since it is open late for the bar crowd. Their burritos are good and they have good chips. You get your food, pay, and can sit in the lobby or take it to go. Not fancy, not a sit-down restaurant with a server. Just a quick spot to snag some good food.More

This is not a restaurant where one orders off a table menu. Instead, there is a single menu on the wall, and one orders at the counter. I thought the number of choices was quite small. The food was below average. I was the only...person in the very large restaurant.More

I was reminded of Subway or Whole Foods: You get to pick the toppings for your burrito as well as the size of your tortilla, and you watch them make your burrito before you pay. I started with the "pastor" and added rice, beans and...veggies. The elaborate decorations on the booths make the space very inviting for dining in. And they have bottled beers available.More

It's a nice environment and a good concept. You go in and select the kind and size of burrito you'd like, and then pick the toppings. As I said in the title, it's like Subway, but for burritos. Generous portions for the price. Would gladly...go again.More

Was traveling through Terre Haute and read the solid reviews of this place. Stopped here for lunch. Tacos were very good. The quesadilla was so-so. The retried brand and rice were below average. Horchata was in self-dispensing beverage containers and nearly empty. By Terre Haute...standards, maybe this is 4 or 5 stars but it rates a solid 3 stars from me. Solid but not anything special.More

Let's just say I've been to almost every state in America and I lived in Arizona for several months and this is still my favorite Mexican restaurant ever. They have the best food I have ever had and the best chicken I have ever eaten....I always get the nachos or quesadilla and smothered in their queso because it is incredible. Every time I find myself in Terre Haute this is the first place I go eat at.More

Came here with a came-in the-mail coupon for $1.99 margaritas. Well, the margaritas are pre-mixed from a large dispenser reminding one of an ancient snow cone machine. So if you're looking for a made from scratch margarita, you won't find it here as there is...no bar. However, the food prep area is clean and the ingredients for the basic and various menu items appear to be fresh daily. Prices are more economical than other cuisines in other restaurants in the area.More

My fiancé, myself, and a friend all had nachos that were delicious!! Mine was the shredded beef topped with amazingly fresh tasty veggies, salsa, beans, rice, etc. Highly recommend this place!! Comparable prices to Chipotle--good portions (can even have leftovers)--liked it very much!
