So first be advised if it's a Notre Dame football weekend it will be packed and it's a limited menu and community seating so be prepared to make new friends. Also live music so don't expect to talk to old friends after the music starts. Also the street is a mess and parking is tight. After that sit back and... More

My wife and I went out to celebrate her birthday. We have driven past this slightly worn building for years. We went in and felt a warm and welcoming comfortable public house from Ireland. The Salmon was fixed to perfection and colcannon was great. My wife had a fantastic ham and Brie grilled sandwich. The bread pudding was the best... More

We went the Fiddlers Hearth to try out the atmosphere and food-- my husband's Shepard's Pie was good, but the "fish & chips" was definitely forgettable. The Scotch Egg was good. Not someplace I would make a point to returning to if in South Bend again, though.

My wife and I enjoyed excellent meals at the authentic Fiddler's Hearth Public House. The selection of beers is excellent. The food was excellent quality and professionally prepared and served. The service was outstanding. Music sets the mood and ambiance. A highly recommended stop for visitors to South Bend.

Recently ate dinner at the Fiddler's Hearth Public House and it met my expectations in all areas. I rate them a 4-leaf clover in the four areas I pay attention to: Brews, Food, Ambience and Service. They offer a wide variety of on tap beer; enough variety to please even the most finicky of palate. The food was very good.... More

I visited the Fiddler's Hearth as a stop on the Wine Walk. Fun atmosphere. Good food and drink. Appears to be a gathering place for locals and travelers both.

Pop in to this casual Irish pub and enjoy the communal dining. We stopped for brunch and enjoyed a variety of sandwiches and burgers while listening to live music. Nice pub atmosphere.

Excellent Gluten Free offerings and authentic Irish atmosphere. Although fish and chips contain gluten, it is a favorite with family members who can tolerate gluten.
