Waiter brought us water which was room temperature with no ice. Ordered Gyros, was okay not great. Meat was pre formed (Sliced too perfect, just like the kits you find in the stores) not cut off the rack. Waiter never came to refresh our drinks. Took forever to get him to come and give us our check. Better Gyros down... More

My wife and I had the chance to eat at Elia's this past weekend and were very happy with our experience. The staff was very welcoming and friendly and the food was definitely worth a return trip. We especially liked the 'spinach pie' and the baclava. The kabobs were also very tasty. The prices are very fair and below what... More

We eat lunch there every week, this place is one of our favorites. They serve delicious home style Mediterranean food. We especially like grape leaf rolls, pitas (triangle shaped meat or vegetable patties), and desserts. Pistachio baklava is out of this world! I don't remember how they call the walnut dessert, but it is wonderful, too. The service and atmosphere... More

Restaurant closes at 9 pm and I came in after 8 pm on a Wed night to find it quite empty. Open seating with dim lights and beautiful pictures on the wall. One server for the restaurant, very pleasant and quick service. Menu is pretty straightforward of typical Mediterranean dishes. Lentil soup is very good in a large bowl. Wine... More

We went to Elia's to celebrate my birthday. We had a great time. The wait staff was wonderful; the food generous and delicious. I had the grill sampler; she had the giro plate. We also had the hummous with veggie appetizer. It all was great.

I saw an article in the paper about this restaurant, so my husband and I decided to try it.The decor is very interesting and the place is clean and well arranged. The ingredients are touted as fresh, and everything we ordered was good. It bothers me when we are the only people eating in a restaurant and this was a... More

We have had two very nice meals at Elia's with friends that eat there frequently. By far some of the best hummus and babaganoush in the region, rivaling any restaurant in Chicago. The kibbeh and falafel were to die for. The garlic spread was fantastic as well as the sauces served with various dishes. The mixed grill was delicious as... More

We've made Elia's our dinner destination of choice on our annual trips to Notre Dame. It's the perfect spot to hit after a Friday evening pep rally, especially if you've made a reservation. (However, the host hooked us up during our last visit, sliding us into a table that opened up early so he could honor his other reservations.) The... More
