The atmosphere is quiet and tables well spaced so some privacy while having dining conversations. The wait staff are professional and knowledgeable. The pork chop was a hit as well as the champagne cake as well as a half dozen other great cakes. The craft beer selection is excellent.

I lived in South Bend for 25 years and was home for a visit. That newer area near Notre Dame, Eddy Commons, I think it's called -- really cool and that's where you'll find The Mark. I like the really big booths & tables -- You can see the staff working in the open kitchen. Had dinner with a local... More

We were able to snag a table for five without reservations for lunch. The restaurant was packed with families, but the service was still excellent. The meal was nothing special, but the sandwiches were huge, so our boys were happy. The Bloody Mary's were the best I've ever had.

This is an excellent location for after work drinks and dinner. I had a lovely IPA on tap--there is a Tuesday $2 off special on draft beer. The Mark Burger is delightful, and you can make modifications to how it comes on the menu--I get it without the fried onions and it is still a delight. The server was excellent--she... More

Visited with a group of 8 on a Thursday night. The restaurant was busy but not crowded. The service was excellent, allowing ample time between courses and available for refills of wine or water. Wines, by the bottle and the glass were reasonably priced and amply poured. My beef medallion special was melt in your mouth tender. The others in... More

Our first visit to this restaurant located in the Eddy Street Common just off the Notre Dame campus. We had reservations but they probably would not have been necessary since it was midweek and we were their early in the evening. Waitress was effecient and friendly. They had a large selection of craft beers with strange names which seems to... More
