Because the flea market is huge, you will need substance at some point. Drinks at $2 were not unreasonable. My son's hamburger, and my chicken wrap were ok. It was only then when I noticed those behind the counters were not wearing masks. We didn't...get sick. The tables are spaced apart and there are a good many of them. Menu is on the wall. Condiments were Covid compliant.More

This restaurant is perfect for a quick bite. It is on the roadside of the flea market and across the street from the Farmstead inn. Menu is limited. I got the ham and cheese with fries and a Pepsi, my wife got the roast beef...sandwich, both meal were delicious. We paid $23 before tip.More

LOCATED ON LEFT OF FLEA MARKET ENTRANCE A SHORT WALK FROM FARMSTEAD INN. We were greeted promptly and the waitress was very personable and attentive to our needs. Tables were clean and food was perfect. Large tables for the entire family.

Meal was adequate. NOT REAL MASHED POTATOES. Quantity was overly generous. Vegetables over cooked. Lovely service.

We stop every year before flea market. Great food and value. Nicest employees. Get the french toast.

Although the staff is friendly and efficient, the food leaves something to be desired. Our meals were barely warm and certainly not the quality we expected from previous reviews. However, the lemon merangie pie was one of the best we have had ever had.

My son and I visited the Shipshewana Auction and Flea Market today. We had originally planned to get Nelsons Chicken at the flea market as we love Nelsons. However, we decided to get lunch at the Shipshewana Trading Place Auction Restaurant. This was the friendliest...staff I have ever seen at a restaurant, from the hostess, to the server, to the cashier. Everyone seemed to be genuinely happy and eager to serve their guests. Our server was Sydney, and I would recommend asking for her if you get the chance. The staff made for a relaxing meal. The food was delicious as well. My son had the broasted chicken. He said it was good. It came with a huge chicken breast and a leg. I got the grilled chicken breast with melted cheese, onions, and mushrooms. It was good. I also got a generous portion of French fries as a side. Both meals came with a choice of potato and one other side. We were glad that we decided to have a sit down meal at the Shipshewana Trading Place Auction Restaurant and will definitely return when we are in the area.More

The auctions are always interesting and fun for collectors. Clean bathrooms, lots of parking, food if you want it. Nice and organized.
