Pizza buffet has a good selection but didn't find "freshly made" anywhere. Decent salad bar and prices were fair. Not a lot of places open on Sunday and EXTREMELY hard to find. Way back in the strip mall and sign is not very prominent.

Since many restaurants are not open on Sunday when we arrived in Shipshewana, we had two choices: Subway and East of Chicago Pizza. Subway we can get anywhere, so we decided to try something different. We ordered 2 items and then shared them. The folded pizza and the taco salad were very good and I would order them again. If... East of Chicago is one of the few places open on Sunday. The pizza was great. The workers were friendly. The only problem was finding it. It is located behind Yoder's General Store (next to the Farmstead Inn).

Stopped in on Sunday of July 4th weekend. Options in the area on Sunday are somewhat limited, so we landed here. We were off hours for the buffet so we ordered pizza to go. It was ready in the promised 15 minutes. The thin crust was crispy, the toppings were good, all in all a winner. Will stop in again... More

Although we love Pizza, it was the only place we could find to eat on a Sunday in Shipshewana. It was later in the day and if we would have known we would have waited and came a day later.

The salad bar was great and the pizza buffet had a good variety to choose from. Great service and atmosphere.

We arrived to town a little after 11:00 and our little one decided that she really wanted pizza for lunch so we headed to East of Chicago. We called in our order so it would be ready when we arrived. No one wants to listen to a really hungry 2 year old. :) We thought we would just do a... More

When Shipshewana closes up in the evening there are not lots of choices where to go for a simple supper. We found this pizza joint hidden behind the visitors center. Nothing much to look at, plain and a little run down. Staff sort of grumpy but they probably were at the end of their long day. Pizza was very good... More

We arrived in town earlier than expected knowing that it was pretty much shut down on Sunday. We were recommended to try East of Chicago and found it nearly empty at the end of their lunch time. In deciding our order we were informed the buffet was still available but we would have to make do with what was available... More
