No trip to Shipsy is ever complete without a stop at JoJo's. We always get a dozen. We eat one while we're there and take the rest home to vacuum seal and freeze. We can grab one out for a snack any time we want, unless the grandkids find them first! We are usually down here 4 or 5 times a year and always stop at JoJo's.

JoJo's Pretzels are so tasty. My friend and I loved visiting Davis Mercantile and we couldn't resist trying JoJo's Pretzels since so many people in the community highly recommended going to JoJo's. Generous size pretzels that taste so delicious with melted butter on top. There's really no reason for seasoning or mustard, even though the options are available. Simply one of the best pretzels I ever ate which makes sense since Shipshewana is an Amish community and the Amish are perfectionists when it comes to making the ultimate German style hot pretzel. So glad to have come here. What a treat! The staff was wonderful, so helpful and friendly!

It was lunch time and a pretzel with an iced latte was perfect. My husband and I shared an iced topping with the pretzel and felt full when we finished. There was a little wait for this flavor pretzel, but it came out hot from the oven and was delicious. I wish we did not live so far away.

When it the area we frequently stop to get a bite to eat here and treat ourselves to a pretzel. I am partial to the cinnamon pretzels, my sister likes the plain ones. The different types of sauces/dips for the pretzels are yummy. I tried the peanut butter one the last time and it was delicious. My sister had cheese and my hubby had garlic with mustard. We were all very happy with our sandwiches and pretzels.

Pickle pretzel has powdered seasoning heavily poured on top, nothing within the pretzel itself. When I ate the first bite, I was taken back by the dry seasoning and accidentally inhaled some. It was an odd experience. The pickle pretzel was good, but I’d advise against this. The original pretzels there are SOOOOOO good, why do anything to mess that original pretzel up? Mustard there is so good, just like last time, we bought a jar to go. Husband had a plain pretzel and he said it was the best soft pretzel he ever had.

These are the best pretzels . They also have the best cherry coke. I havent ever tried the rest of the meau and havent really paid attention to others items, always go for the pretzels

We ordered whole wheat pretzels, mine with parmesan, hubbies plain. The marinara dipping sauce made it a pizza-like snack...delicious! We started a new punch card, and hope that we will be able to fill it up and actually use it this time. Last time we filled one up, they said they couldn't accept it b/c people were punching them themselves...I was not a happy camper! But in good faith, we are satisfied customers. When you enter the Davis Mercantile, the smell of the pretzels draws you in! =) Enjoy!

Was enjoying our lunch (July 29, 2023) when I noticed 3 people at another table with a small DOG!!!! The dog was very cute, even had a bow in it's fur but dog's are NOT allowed in establishments that serve food--it is a serious health code violation in Indiana. The dog was even allowed on the table by the patrons. I went to the counter and explained this violation to the girl and she giggled. I explained that the dog, no matter how cute, still had fur, dander and could have fleas and ticks, she continued to giggle. Will not be back but will be reporting to the Indiana Health Department.

Went after a show at the Blue Gate. We were ready for a delicious treat. Have been here numerous times in the last 30 years. Well things change & boy did they ever.
The taste isn't the same & the help needs improvement. Asked for wheat & we got white, not good. On Saturday at 4 PM I understand he couldn't have cared less about the mistake but hey we are paying customers. Well we didn't bring home the usual dozen to share with our adult kids and grands. Nuff said, we won't be returning.

Let's get this right - unique place, neat decor! The rest of it, just a typical spot to get pretzels, hot dogs, pop. We waited in line for 25 minutes and what we received, well wasn't anything more special than most other usual places.

The pretzels are simply amazing! The place was packed but the line went very quickly and there was ample room to find a seat. If you are looking for the perfect pretzel, this is the place to go.

My wife and I were in town for a Blue Gate Concert and decided to have lunch at Jo-Jo's. The lunch was very nice, but the Pretzel was AWESOME. Thank you for making our visit to Shipshewana, IN. special.

GF pretzels were nice to have available. He enjoyed the regular style. Minimal drink selection. The ladies that morning were young and very interested in their conversation more so than customers. However the food was enjoyable.
