The idea of sausage gravy on home fries seemed like crazy talk. Call open faced meals Manhattan seemed wild too. But the food was really good any way you shake it even though they were a bit hard to find.

Breaded tenderloin was not only the best I've ever had, but the biggest as well. The onion rings were also great, and the service was amazing. The price was very reasonable as well.

I have had the pleasure of eating at the Townhouse (Betty's Townhouse) for most of my life. A small restaurant in Seymour that serves the best in home cooked meals for a very reasonable price. When in our town, come to Townhouse

Townhouse always delivers. Their plate lunches are nutritious and delicious! (And plenty to eat). Breaded tenderloin is always large and tasty. Pies are dynamite. If you enjoy home cooked food in a friendly atmosphere - you need to eat here!! It's all good!! Carpe diem.

We were looking for a meal before hitting a local winery. One of the owner's late father was a coworker of mine and godfather to a good friend. WOW, we were so lucky to stop and to get a table on a Saturday morning! The local crowd is very loyal for good reason. The prices are very affordable and the... More

Girlfriend and I were passing through town when we found this gem. Read the reviews and got a breaded tenderloin, which did not disappoint. Girlfriend got the fish sandwich and she liked that as well.

This is a true small town diner that serves up some great food. Wife and I had breakfast plate and side of pancakes, it was all very good and pancakes are huge! What we loved is the food was not greasy which was very nice to see and enjoy!

So I have eaten here 3 times. I found the place after heading home from a chiropractic appt. everything you get at the Townhouse Cafe will be pleasing to your tastebuds. This place has been around since the early 60's and it's not hard to tell why. Do not miss the chance to try this place if you're ever in... More

One of my local co-workers took me and 2 of my colleagues here for lunch(on 2 different days). it is definitely comfort food. Interesting country style dishes. Plenty of variety to choose from. I had a fried Tenderloin sandwich...it was excellent. We all like are meals. The meringue pies were excellent. We sampled both Peanut Butter and Banana Cream. The... More
