This place is a hidden gem. My wife and I started going here before the drive-n movies, but now we go here often. Breadsticks are amazing and pizza is superb!

They had a pizza special and i called to order the special at 5:30 and they was already out of crust. Not a good way to attract new customers. I will not order any thing else from them. Roger Carter
It tasted like frozen pizza to me. Crust and veggies tasted like a Jack's Pizza to me.4 x the price.
We've been here several times, the food is always hot, the service is what you'd expect, doesn't take forever to get your food, and the staff is always friendly, although prices are a little high,
My husband and I grew up in the area and ate here all the time. We love the breadsticks and strombolis. We recently had to come to town for a funeral and stopped in because we crave this place even after moving away years ago....It's still delicious and just as good as it's been our whole lives. Miss eating here regularly.More
We have eaten at Angelo’s for probably more than 30 years. We have followed them from Owensboro, KY, to this location. We order a Stromboli and an Al Capone, and make two meals out of them. The buns are perfectly cooked, and the filling is...ample and delicious! Can’t wait to return.More
There is not much in this little town. So we were happy to find this place open late. Got a pizza with the works and it was pretty darn good.
Pizza was average, but was hot and ready to go when we picked up. Convenient as we were all starving after a long day at Holiday World. Ordered for pick up and took to hotel to eat.
Myself and some fellow workers had a lunch time buffet here. There was about 15 of us. Everyone of our group that I talked to had the same general view of the place that I had, and that was this place was not worth coming...Beck to.More
How the great have fallen. Being from Owensboro, I've been in Rockport a few times in my life. I've got a friend who grew up in the Reo/Rockport area. We would always stop here and get the breadsticks. They've a thinner type of bread stick....They actually look like a opossum tail, random comparison, I know. I remember they were always so good. The Parmesan cheese was unique & had a sweet flavor to it. The dough also was different in a good way. It's been about ten years since I've had Angelos. My friend bought a home in the area & we came up from Nashville to visit. We ordered a couple orders of breadsticks for old time sake. An order of breadsticks (or breadstix) will run you $3.25. The order also comes with cheese. It's the nacho cheese type, but tastes more artificial than I remember. Did it used to come with marinara sauce? The breadsticks tasted like they'd been there for a while. The parmesan cheese was sparse & didn't taste like it used to. It was very dry, the sticks weren't great either, the dough didn't have much flavor, & dipping it in the cheese sauce didn't help. I wished I'd let the memory stay with me & not try them again.More
Drove from Tell City, In to Rockport, In just to eat here. Have been coming to eat here since I was in 8th grade! I am now 53 yrs old. I always get an Al Capone . So good! All my kids are hooked also....We usually stop here before going to drive in that is in REO,In. We take our pizza and subs with us to the drive in! Ate here last night and it didn't disappoint. Two people ate for $15.More
We stayed in Rockport for our visit to Holiday World 20 miles north and figured pizza was the most kid-friendly option. Overall quality of the pizza was average -- better than frozen or big chain pizza places, but not nearly as good as the mom...'n' pop pizza we've had many other places. One highlight: kids both ordered pan pizza, and the crust was very, very good. I would definitely order the pan version over the thin crust. Prices are very fair and sizes/servings are generous. We've ordered 10-inch pizzas for the kids elsewhere and they were closer to 8 or 9 inches, but these were 10 inches or better. Service was fine -- order at the front when you come in, then find a table and they bring it to you when it's ready. Parking was wherever you could find a place for your vehicle.More
We read the reviews about how great the bread sticks are.....not impressed. They were skinny slices of fried pizza dough. There is NO wait staff, you order from a counter and they do bring you your food when it's done, that's it, need anything...go to...the counter. They have Tiny paper plates in a basket on your table, I had to use two for my slice. The pizza was ok. They are busy so locals must like them.More
You will not find a better pizza for the price. We always stop and get pizza and bread sticks when we head to the drive inn movie at Reo.
This is our towns best! It has the best Breadstcks!! People come back just for them! The owners are so friendly & supportive of our schools! It's one of the perks of small town living!!
