My wife and moved to Indiana from San Diego. We've been dining here for several years for lunch and dinner. We were here for lunch 1/10/2020 I ordered the Chili Verde a and it was the most flavorful and delicious I've ever eaten. The sauce...was savory and spicy. I would recommend this dish to anyone that likes the savory taste of tomatillo and onion. Try them out , you won't be disappointed! ( oh! Yeah, did I mention I've been an executive chef for some 30 years).More

Just ordered take out tonight. 4 chicken quesadillas, 2 orders of guacamole, 2 Pico and other various toppings/sides. Got home to discover the quesadillas had not been cut and missing a key ingredient. CHEESE!! Dry chicken with a soggie soft shell wrapped in half. This...location is in a dead strip mall surounded by failed businesses that are closed. They can't afford to do this bad if they intend to stay open. First and last visit to this restaurant.More

We do takeout at least monthly and eat in for more special occasions. We can always count on an enjoyable meal that is a good value. El Ro west employees work hard so that we can play.

By far the worst visit I’ve ever had from them if it were possible I’d give them negative stars! I always get the same thing EVERY TIME! I’ve never had an issue until today! I get the chicken nachos with no veggies. Well apparently “it’s...to much work to shred grilled chicken” so I legit just paid $19 for chunks of chicken and chips! Barely any cheese on my nachos! When I called back to speak to a manager THE SAME ONE THAT TOOK MY ORDER AND KNEW I WAS PISSED ANSWERED and tried to tell me at first the manager was on break. Then it was “oh he not here he no come back!” I’ve never been treated so poorly by any restaurant before in my life! I will be going to speak to the manager when they open and if need be I’ll contact the BBB & The Board of Health! My food was cold af and I’m not having to eat reheated Mexican food! I will not be going back there ever again!More

Their food is beyond words awesome. I ordered a fiesta buritto. It was STUFFED with shrimp, scallops, beef, brocolli and more. It was a flavor party with every bite. My mom is 83. She eats like a bird. She ordered a taco salad. It was the...size of a football. Stuffed over the edges of the shell. She ate it all. My wife ordered their steak fajitas. The meat was flavored perfectly. A great experience for allMore

We were traveling and stopped for the night. In the mood for Mexican food, we asked at our hotel if there was a Mexican restaurant nearby. They recommended El Rodeo. I loved the decor as we walked in. The staff was very friendly and we...were seated immediately. The menu offers a great variety and I particularly liked the "a la carte" portion. I was able to make my own "Mexican" plate. The sangria was tasty.More

This is a fan favorite for our work family. The food is good, affordable and the service is fast. Very popular place - someone from our office is in there daily. Love this place!

I have been here a couple of times and have enjoyed the food every time. You won't go away hungry as the portions are large for the price you pay. If you are looking for a good Mexican meal, this is a place to go.

We've eaten here multiple times but I've never gotten carryout until today-- turned out to be an excellent idea! They had my order ready to go in no time flat (called ahead, arrived within 15 mins). So much food! They even included chips and salsa!...No place else can you get this much wonderful food for so little money! I have to eat gluten free, and as long as I get corn tortillas I can always eat here-- I highly recommend the carnitas! Not a complaint to be had!More

We were a party of 4. I had read the reviews from others, but decided it was worth a try. The margaritas were great, the food was excellent, the service was the best and the price of the meal far outweighed some of the other...places we had frequented while in Richmond. Three of the four of us had chimachangas (beef and chicken). The fourth person (who really likes Mexican food could not believe what he got for the price of his meal.More

We first moved to the area just about three years ago, and at that time we saw the 4/5 rating and gave it a try. We really enjoyed it the first time. Our bar was high because we spent 10 years eating at Garibaldi's in...Apopka, Florida - 5/5! Over the past three years this place has done nothing to the decor except leave the paint chips alone and not clean. We sucked it up and gave it a try although our first inclination was to bolt. We should've. There were tables and booths everywhere yet they seated us at a table near the kitchen...oh an the bathrooms on the other side. We ordered margaritas that I really think were made with Kool-Aid with extra sugar added. What a waste of good Cabo Wabo tequila! Then the food came. Texas Padilla Fajitas for two. While two tables that were seated and ordered after us were served sizzling fajita skillets, we were finally served a bland, not hot platter of gray beef, chewy chicken chunks and shrimp with a mixture of fresh-ish green pepper, onion and tomatoes with what looked like stewed veggies that were left over from the day before...mixed in the same blend. OH - and served on a cold plate sitting in a foil-wrapped tray - #wishItookapicture. Then after picking at the plate we had to beg for the $50 check, paid in cash the exact amount (after waiting 10 minutes for the cashiers to figure out how to ring a gift certificate), and left in a hurry. Never to return. Do NOT waste your money!!More

My family and I decided on Mexican for lunch but what we got was disappointed. Both my mother and sister ordered food the contained meat the problem was that there was no seasoning just cooked hamburger. You would think that there would be taco seasoning...or something cooked with it. The refried beans were gross as well. We also tried the quacaamole which was not fresh and tasted like something premade from grocery store. All in all I have never had a bad meal until this time. I don't recommend this restaurant. Save your money and just buy the ingredients and cook at home or try the other El Rodeo on the other side of town.More
