1st time in Plymouth to research some ancestors and decided to pop into Opies for lunch and glad I did. Great food at a low price , pretty old building and friendly wait staff in the bar. Had the Italian Standard and pasta salad and...it was perfect. Wife had the special turkey panini and loved it. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.More

We ate here for lunch today and were greeted and shown around because I was scouting ahead to bring a group on Friday. The food was excellent and arrived at our outdoor table in a short time.

In the heart of downtown Plymouth Opie’s is the best place to eat! They have lunches to delicious full course meals. You can dine with your family in one area. You can grab a yummy, quick sandwich in another area. You can have drinks and...dinner in yet another area. And when the summer season is here, you can dine al fresco! What’s not to love?! Come to Opies!! ❤️ (Crossposted to FB.)More

Best place to eat in Plymouth Located downtown in the extensively-renovated, old JCPenney, Opie's is the best place to eat in Plymouth! It's really several places in one: Opie's Deli, the Office (bar) with seating available for minors, and the Alley. They also cater special...events in their banquet space or smaller Back Room. Friday is Pasta Night. Shrimp scampi was fantastic! The shrimp were large, and the homemade sauce was perfect. Pasta was cooked just right. The homemade upside down apple cake was scrumptious! So are their tres leche and chocolate fudge cakes and homemade soups and salads. During the summer you can dine Thursday and Friday nights outside in the beautifully landscaped garden adjacent to the alley. It's my favorite place to eat. If I were to move away, one of things I would miss the most is Opie's.More

I think I had dreams about their mushroom soup. They should market it! Great atmosphere, great service every time. And that mushroom soup! Wow!

I was visiting family & friends in Indiana during the holidays & went with a friend to Opie's Deli on Michigan St. in downtown Plymouth. This restaurant is tucked away in a building that used to house Penney's. Much of the original woodwork is still...in place. They have a separate deli for take out and a small restaurant called The Office with a fireplace and full bar. Opie's features homemade deli sandwiches, salads & soups for lunch and entrees for dinner. My friend & I had lunch there & my sister joined up when she got off work. We ordered soup & sandwiches. The food was both delicious & nutritious - for lighter fare, they have half salad & sandwich options as well as soup in a cup or bowl. Opie's also has larger rooms available for meetings & banquets. My sister, who lives in Plymouth, belongs to a club that holds monthly meetings there. I'd recommend Opie's for good food in a cozy place with a small town atmosphere.More

We took our high school soccer team here in between games. We called ahead to let them know we were coming and they did a great job accommodating us. The food and wait staff was awesome! We will come back next year if play again

Thursday nights are grill night with lots of choices off the grill in the back outdoor eating area. Our group had the fish tacos, catfish and grilled chicken. All were great. Nice small salad and grilled red skin potatoes served with sandwiches and other entrees....Wait staff was great and very accommodating. We will be back to try other menu choices. The burgers look fantastic.More
