Large group raising funds for a good cause in town, shall remain nameless. ~30 seated outside, 15 minutes for water another 20 for our first 'brew', ordering food took ~ an hour, did I mention the poor server was alone until we commented indoors at the bar, we couldn't find a manager? 15-20 minutes after the food order, half of... The food is good. I got the turkey apple brie sandwich and enjoyed it. My daughter did not like her drink, said it was too sour and did not finish it. When our large group (7 adults 8 kids) arrived for lunch the restaurant was maybe 1/3rd full. It took 90 minutes for us to get our food, just way... More

Yes, Indiana passed a law that allowed businesses that MAKE alcoholic beverages on-site (e.g., breweries, vineyards, etc.) to sell alcohol for "take out" on Sundays. Thus, microbreweries that sell growlers of their magic are the only way for you to purchase the water of life on Sundays in Indiana. We always forget about this anachronistic law in Indiana, so it's... More

Restaurant was busy, though not full. Servers seemed unprepared. Party of 9 (2 families-4 adults, 5 kids), so we were a little more work. Service was extremely slow. Some food was good, others not so great. A friend's Reuben (corned beef) was tough and overly fatty. Beer was good

We sat at a bar high top and it was ok. Was not much to look at inside, staff were friendly though. Some different beers, they brought me three samples when I couldn't decide. We did eat dinner, all of us getting a hamburger, which was pretty good. The salt and pepper fries were really good. Prices were average. Not... More

Went with a friend, and although the food was OK, the pricing was a little high. Have been trying different places in our area, and guess I just expected more for the price.

A good home brew beer list. I had the IPA and their Belgium Triple and both were pretty good. I ordered a bison burger with a side salad and it was just okay, nothing outstanding. If the service had been better, I would have rated this a little bit higher as a place to stop and have a casual dinner... More

We enjoyed the Black Swan very much. Food was great and our waitress was very friendly and helpful. Nice little pub style place to eat.

We stopped in on our way out of town from a baseball tourney. We were seated quickly, but my seat actually had an old French fry in it. Water was brought to the table by our server, who quickly put in our order of fried pickles. I think we actually got about 6-7 spears. My husband ordered the shepherd's pie,... More

This place was about 100m away from our hotel so they do have a captured audience, but their beer isn't really anything great. Most is in style but between the poor food and mediocre beer it's worth searching elsewhere. As we arrived there was a line for growlers and we were hopeful but soon found out that in Indiana beer...
