Our family has been going there for 14 years, sometimes eating at restaurant. We have a lot of children of all ages and they have welcomed them.

We stayed for a week in one of the Abe Martin family cabins. The cabin itself was what we expected (although the Lodge website is not very informative and we had to make several phone calls to know what to expect). However, the cabin wasn't ready at check in time when we arrived (2 housekeepers had called in sick) and... More

We were staying at the Abe Martin lodge for our Brown County weekend and decided to have breakfast that Saturday morning at the Abe Marion Lodge Restaurant. Based on our breakfast experience I would not eat there again but would stay at the lodge. It was not very crowded but the service was slow. During the hour we were there... More

We were staying in the cabins and ate a dinner and breakfast here. The service and atmosphere were great, very accommodating. The food was pretty average. Not bad but just average. We had the buffet both times and they were really struggling to keep everything filled. Some of the items ran out and were not replaced for 15 or 20... More

We stopped here for lunch while attending the Bill Monroe bluegrass festival in Beanblossom. This is a very rustic place-- but so beautiful. Our table looked out onto the butterfly garden, and we ordered off the menu. Service was excellent, and we didn't wait too long for our food. My mother said her BLT was the best she ever had--... My family recently took a week camping trip to Brown County State Park & decided to visit the Abe Martin Lodge for breakfast for our last morning in the park. The wait was long but the breakfast buffet was worth the wait. Very expansive selection of typical breakfast items, fresh fruit & fried biscuits with apple butter. Staff seamed overwhelmed... More

I was at the lodge for a family gathering in the Princess Room I believe and I was quite surprised by how nice the lodge and whole set up was. Not "Lodge-y" in feel just look. The room was ample, but the provided food was lacking in taste and texture. I'd bring in your own if possible. Upon walking the... More

Plentiful buffet for breakfast and dinner and live music (guitar/acoustic soloist) during both. Very pleasantly surprised at the great food on the buffets.

While staying in the Brown County State Park and visiting the T. C. Steele Historic Site, my wife and I had lunch in the Abe Martin Lodge restaurant. The decor is rustic and full of the Abe Martin memorabilia. There is outside seating but it was not being used because of the cold weather this particular day and the inside... More
