Husband and I went to Blue Lantern for Sunday dinner because you get soup, salad, and entree. The selection is great - American food. It is a very family friendly place - homey! I had my favorite - Fried Chicken, and husband had beef and noodles. Good food!

Even though it was after 9pm when we got there, we got excellent service and food. They offer different specials throughout the week. Our server was very attentive, and couldn't have been nicer.

Always a good place to have a filling meal - soup, salad, and entree. There are many choices. My favorite is the roasted four piece chicken dinner.

We have frequented the Blue Lantern and always enjoyed getting away from the corporate food chains on Grape. The food, service, and proportions have always been much more appealing to us than the measured out food and scripted service you get at say Logan's Roadhouse and places like that. Sadly, tonight will be our last time at the Blue Lantern,... More

I have been going there for about 35 years. The food is always good and service is also. It is truely a family affair. Prices on food and drinks are very reasonable. The Blue Lantern is a refreshing change from their neighboring chain restaurants. See Mike for a nice Martini.

This place doesn't disappoint . I ordered the master cut prime rib medium rare and was wonderful. I received a large salad and soup with the dinner as well. My father ordered the French dip which was massive and came with a salad and soup as well. Wine is 4 something a glass, liqour specials as well. For the money... More

This was our 2nd visit to this restaurant, and I must say, we had a blast. My youngest daughter and I arrived first, and sat in the bar, soon joining us was my oldest daughter. We sat at the bar due to how packed they were inside. The bartender was great, the mature woman who was at the door personally... More

Having eaten here many times, I've just accepted that it's going to take around an hour to eat here. The service is consistently slow no matter how busy the restaurant is. Tonight, the big difference was that our waitress was incapable of delivering good service when compared to all of the other waitresses. While other tables seated after us were... More

The prices are very reasonable. Service is slow but not to the point where it is a problem. They weren't busy so maybe just a little understaffed. I had the ahi tuna. Seared is recommended but this was just a little over cooked. My wife had the bourbon glazed steak. It wasn't tenderized to the point of mush like some... More

Thoroughly enjoyed the Blue Lantern, Everyone is very friendly...feels a bit like walking into Cheers as I went with my parents who are regulars and were greeted by name. I had a tough time choosing from all of the great options on the menu. I settled on the shrimp which was very good as was the twice baked potato that... More
