We joined some friends for dinner at Corndance and enjoyed a really memorable meal. The food was excellent and well prepared, the service was professional and attentive, and the atmosphere was conducive to lively conversation. It was first rate. If you visit Corndance I recommend...taking a look at the dinner called the Sword of John Adams. It is a dish that varies from time to time, but is always an interesting mix of different proteins skewered on a stylized sword. It looks cool, tastes great, and offers an opportunity for a really distinctive dining experience. They also carry local beers brewed by Evil Czech brewing, which are also highly recommended. My wife and I look forward to our next opportunity to dine at Corndance.More

One of the best steaks we all had! The peppercorn topping is amazing and the truffle fries are great! If you go ask for Myrah (probably spelled wrong)! She was a fun, energetic and pleasant server. Constantly checking in and hustling for her tables!

Everything was great including the service. My filet was cooked perfect and the sides where very tasty. I didn’t save room for desert, but will definitely be back.

Corndance is one of my favorite restaurants in Mishawaka. It has never disappointed. The steak fondue is phenomenal. The portion sizes are big. It is a bit more pricey, but it is worth the cost. Love it!!

Came here with family. They were able to accommodate our somewhat large group fairly last minute so we were really thankful for that. I believe Kim was our waitress and she was fantastic. Everything tasted great.

Corndance Tavern is very casual but the food is quite upscale. Aged steaks and unusual dishes with an Asian influence served in a comfortable setting by well trained staff who take care of their customers. Our server provided us with more than we anticipated and...our party of four all enjoyed our meals. Expect to pay a little more, but the experience justifies the prices.More

A Wonderful Experience! My wife and I went here on our anniversary. We had heard that the dining experience was good, but ours was over the top! She made the arrangements of booking the wine room for the two of us. It was exciting to...have individualized and personal attention throughout our romantic dinner! I enjoyed the selection of multiple meats on a sword while she enjoyed her salmon. A definite place to make celebrating special.More

The steaks were phenomenal! The sides and dessert were just as great. It was nice to hear that they stay local for their ingredients along with a butcher shop directly behind the restaurant. They have a good variety of food to choose from. Ask for...Megan if you stop in for lunch!More

We went to a steakhouse and didn't order steak! This is a lovely restaurant with good food. We shared appetizers, sides and entrees so that we could have dessert. The coconut shrimp appetizer was good. The carmelized brussel sprouts were excellent. The lobster linguini was...good. The desserts were okay; we ordered 2. We visited here because our daugther and her partner had been here and enjoyed it. They visited on a Monday night when there were tapas specials. Since we aren't really steak eaters, we would plan to return for that. The food it fresh and flavorful. The service was attentive and helpful. I saw a family with small children, but I would say this is a more "fine dining" experience than a family restaurant.More

This is a steak and seafood place mainly. They emphasize that their steaks are aged. One person at our table had the NY strip with ligonberry sauce and broccoli. He was pleased. Another had the summer berry salad with grilled salmon. She was pleased. I...had the special which was Copper River Salmon with a spicy coleslaw. I was pleased. Service was very good.More

Went for lunch, two of the three reluctantly. We all came away happy. Give it a try I think you’ll like it. The burgers are two thin patties well-done, juicy and very flavorful. The calamari appetizer special along with the fried green beans were a...nice starter. Good service, nice place.More

Family birthday - decided to go hear 1, they take reservations & 2, heard fantastic things! Well it started off great! We were seated, drink orders taken and they took our order for our meal. Four of us got different cuts of meat filet &...ribeye good but nothing out of the ordinary, one seafood mac and cheese, great & the chopped steak, loved. Then came the Sword of John Adams-market price - Was supposed to have pork chop, lamb chop and or lamp pop? Server asked how we like the lamb cooked, medium rare as usual. We were served a pork chop, 2 shrimp (Prawns not sure a little small) and a Vienna sausage thing (Tasted terrible- oversized hot dog) Nothing said??? We called the waitress back she went to kitchen came back - oh yeah they ran out of lamb and substituted this? Walked away??? Really??? No price change, payed for lamb. To my husband who was extremely upset, thank you for not causing a scene! Just very disappointed. Over $400 with tip and to walk out with not getting what you asked for or even asked if you might like something else, but given this to eat (what if he was allergic to shellfish?) Just not impressed for the price. We are foodies, don't mind prices if you can live up to the expectations but that one thing unfortunately ruined the whole meal!More

Heard great things, but was really disappointed. Wife’s salad was really sad. Sons mac/cheese was good. My fried chicken was good, but cheddar potatoes were without taste. The biggest issue was my sons gf’s Bento Box bacon-wrapped pork. It was raw the first time served....After a considerable wait it was served raw in the middle again. After being told this was how pork is served (yes, actually told this), she was told she should tell the waitress she wanted it well done. For clarification, I actually like my pork pink in the middle, but I know what raw is. So, it was sent back again to be boxed to take with us. After paying the bill and waiting roughly 15 to 20 minutes we had to remind our waitress. Just a bad experience all around. Won’t be back...More
