Jesus is a top flight restaurant using really fresh, creative ingredients. It is a hipster spot with cool art on the walls, and the fusion, which may throw you at first glance, is a home run. This place is a must-hit spot if in the...area. Excellent staff, cuisine and space. Bravo! In my 4 years visiting the area, it lands at the top of the list.More
A friend presented us with some canned cakes from Jesus Latin Grill & Tequilla Bar, so since we liked the cake so much we had to try the restaurant. My wife was delighted we visited on the margarita special night! The margaritas were great, the...appetitzers and entrees were also great!! We will visit again and bring friends. Service was also wonderful!!More
I am a foodie critic by hobby....and by far, this was the best bruch ever! The parking, the staff, the environment, the services, the drinks and then to top it off every single dish was amazing!!!!!!!!!
to make a difference in order to be successful is what needs to happen in order for everyone to stay happy, and healthy, and rich!
Go. Run. Just get there. This restaurant is a unique and wonderful culinary experience. Service is superb. Food is a sensory delight. As soon as you leave you will be planning your return. Yes. It’s that good!
The setting is different, the basement of an old library. The food was better than expected. Nothing wrong about any item for a group of four adults and two children. The seasoning actually adds to the flavor of the food, unlike many “Latin” foods where...the answer to everything is to dump hot spices into the food to make it “authentic.” The service was quick and attentive without hovering.More
Excellent nachos, good drinks, interesting menu items. Pleasant setting. Hard to find if not familiar with area. Unexpectedly very good Latin food for upper Midwest.
What else can I say man. I truly have been everywhere..Fantastic food, drinks, service. Vacation quality, does that do more to impress? I have literally been everywhere, skip grape road and come here.
This was our second visit to Jesus, and it was every bit as good as the first one! We will come back every time we visit Mishawaka. Everything we have tried has been excellent! My daughter likes the Chaufa bowls and I tried one this...time - very flavorful! Husband and daugther had two different taco plates and traded one so they could taste them both - loved them! Her boyfriend had the lamb special - also excellent! We were there the night they had margarita flights which were interesting. I prefer frozen margaritas so I stuck with sangria. Be sure to save room for dessert! The carrot cake layered with cheesecake was to die for!More
Came here with a couple girls from work. I don't live here, I am a travel healthcare worker. So when I get the chance to check out a local spot, I jump at it! A couple of the girls ordered a margarita flight, so I...just tried one of them. Very good! Someone ordered the Nacho Last Supper and shared. Those were so good! Not your typical nacho platter. Very generous portions of meat and beans and cheese. Very tasty. I really didn't know what to order because everything looks so good! And it didn't help that some of the girls were trying to get me to order what they usually get, "you won't be disappointed". I ended up going with the Patagonian lamb empanadas. Because... empanadas. But... lamb?!?! Not sure what I was thinking. But I was not disappointed. I was hesitant, at first, but I am glad I stepped out of my box and ordered them. So very delish!!! Very well seasoned. Very tasty. Tasted everything in every bite! I need to keep going back and just order something different every time!! That's how impressive the meal was for me. They have these "cake in a can" desserts. And it is, cake in a can. Oh em gee! I ordered a couple before from a sister restaurant and I didn't share. Because I didn't want to. I wanted it all to myself! They have four different ones, and I got one of each. The Heaven and Hell one is, by far, my favorite. It's peanut butter and jelly. Perfection in a can.More
This was our favorite restaurant for the past couple of years. However after our visit today we will not go back. The menu was nearly the same except for the prices. Everything had gone up since our last visit of a month or so ago....The prices went up but the appearance and taste went down.............My tacos, 2 to an order, did not have as much lamb combined on the 2 as you used to get on 1 ! The calamari looked totally different on my wife's salad and was not nearly as tasty. Our server was extremely aggravated by any complaint we made, which there would have been more but we hardly saw her. We were concerned when we viewed a sign on the patio that limited our time to eat to 1 1/2 hours and wondered if we would have enough time to eat after waiting so long for it to be served. To top it off when we received our bill we were charged a dollar more for each of our drinks , 4 in total than stated on the menu. Adios!!More
Authentic Latin restaurant. We truly were amazed at the food. Presented well and so delicious. Took me right back to eating street tacos in Mexico. The Maria Sabina was perfect for vegetarians. Husband had the torta on the brunch menu and said it was one...of the best things he’s ever eaten. Decor is really unique. The service was also great from Becca. It was difficult to find because the front of the restaurant looks like a library. The back is where the name of the restaurant shows. Don’t give up looking for it, so worth it.More
There were 3 of us and a toddler for dinner. We started with drinks (the blood, the hemingway and pisco sour) and Queso Fundito. All good! The chicken tinga enchaladas were delish. the Lamb Birria was good too. Our server Cynthia was great. Would come...back!More
The Brunch is AMAZING!! New menu as of last week. 4 top for this review. Both Spicy Katrina with Bacon & Jalapeño and their Classic Margarita were incredible alcoholic beverages! Best Marg of Mishawaka! As an Appetizer, we ordered the steak tips and were in...love! As meals, we ordered the pollo with rice brunch item (Latin take on eggs Benedict), pork and papas (similar to the steak tips appetizer but with pork), and chicken tingas enchiladas. Every meal was best meal we’ve had in Mishawaka and that includes Evil Czech (sister restaurant). Highly recommend! Nice patio during COVID-19 too!More
