Authentic Latin restaurant. We truly were amazed at the food. Presented well and so delicious. Took me right back to eating street tacos in Mexico. The Maria Sabina was perfect for vegetarians. Husband had the torta on the brunch menu and said it was one...of the best things he’s ever eaten. Decor is really unique. The service was also great from Becca. It was difficult to find because the front of the restaurant looks like a library. The back is where the name of the restaurant shows. Don’t give up looking for it, so worth it.More

There were 3 of us and a toddler for dinner. We started with drinks (the blood, the hemingway and pisco sour) and Queso Fundito. All good! The chicken tinga enchaladas were delish. the Lamb Birria was good too. Our server Cynthia was great. Would come...back!More

The Brunch is AMAZING!! New menu as of last week. 4 top for this review. Both Spicy Katrina with Bacon & Jalapeño and their Classic Margarita were incredible alcoholic beverages! Best Marg of Mishawaka! As an Appetizer, we ordered the steak tips and were in...love! As meals, we ordered the pollo with rice brunch item (Latin take on eggs Benedict), pork and papas (similar to the steak tips appetizer but with pork), and chicken tingas enchiladas. Every meal was best meal we’ve had in Mishawaka and that includes Evil Czech (sister restaurant). Highly recommend! Nice patio during COVID-19 too!More

The restaurant has a playful and artistic decor which is very appealing. We were seated promptly, which is to be expected for a weekday lunch. The waitress explained the special of the day, and we were not interested. She mentioned several times, and we were...not thrilled at being pushed toward a special we did not want. Thankfully, we ordered the food we wanted. You have not had a tamale until you have had one at this restaurant. It was perfect. The menu states tamales, but you will receive only one in the abreocas. The corn salsa was amazing. We both ordered cocktails, and my husband's was amazing and mine was horrible. My cocktail tasted as if the bartender had dropped half the jar of red pepper in it, and served it anyway. I explained to the waitress that I did not care for the cocktail, and she offered to substitute for another drink. I ordered sangria, which was the best sangria I had ever had. Unfortunately, the sangria did not arrive until after I finished the meal, so I had water with my entree. Both entrees were good, except for the yuca fries, which were cold and tasteless except for the overuse of sauce on them. Too bad, because we like yuca fries, and they are hard to find. We were charged for the high priced cocktail, even though the sangria was half the price. While the food was good except for the yuca fries, we would not go back to this restaurant due to the poor service.More

This place had a lot of good buzz around it, had been hearing from friends how good it was for months. We finally made it there with some friends and I walked away with mind=blown. Place itself is cool, nice patio area and chill vibe...inside. Had a glance through their EXTENSIVE tequila menu. Honestly, I didn't know there were that many tequilas on the market. Decided on a margarita and it was good. Had their steak bites and potatoes appetizer for the table and we did all but lick the plate. After much back and forth, I had the fileta....which although only 6 oz was really good. Excellent seasoned crust that gave it a little texture and enough chimichurri on top to add to the steak, but not overpower it. I got to try the wife's Jerk chicken tacos, and it was mildly seasoned....not some of the really aggressive jerk spice I've had other places. Well balanced and tasty. Had the tres leches dessert....which was served in an aluminum can! That was a first for me...and it was pretty tasty. I would trade the dessert for a bigger steak, though! This was a really great night. Our server was great, the food was remarkable, a little unique and very tasty...and the atmosphere was perfect for our night out. This was one of the better restaurant meals we've had in quite a while. We will most certainly be returning, and hopefully soon!More

The restaurant itself is really cool with a good vibe. The food was inventive and delicious. The waiter was able to help us through the menu and make some suggestions. I had the jerk chicken tacos with the slaw and everything was great. I was...surprised that I actually liked the slaw but the strips or tortillas gave it a nice crunch. My wife had the Colombian and I think she had enough left over for a couple more meals. It was loaded with anticucho marinated hanger steak, fried egg, linguica sausage, achiote rubbed pork tenderloin, avocado, fried plantains, herb chimichurri. Don't leave without the cake in a can. Who knew.More

Recommended to us by a local. In town on business. I have lived overseas in South and Central America.......this was pretty close. For northern Indiana---not too shabby. Would definitely return. Comfortable restaurant. Cool vibe.
