Great authentic Mexican food and at a cheap price. You can get a lunch for around $7. They have gorditas, flautas, tacos, ceviche, burritos, fajitas, enchiladas, y más.

The server brought my husband limes for his iced tea instead of lemons. The meal came out very quickly, we were hoping for more flavor. It was good but not hot enough flavor. The portions are very large.

I come here for the tacos. The carnitas tacos. Authentic. Seasoned well. Crunchy. Flavorful. Great texture. Simply dressed with onions and cilantro and not that uber-westernized version that's drowning in ingredients that overrun the deliciousness of the meat. I plow thru miles of construction to get here and it is always worth it. Service is always friendly! The flan is... More

THE place to get authentic Mexican food in Lafayette, Indiana. Large dinner portions as well as à la carte items, you can't miss with any of the selections here. Try the al pastor tacos and the ceviche tostada if you can't decide!

We were in town for a basketball tournament and looked for a place online with good reviews and cheap. This place wasn't too far from the gym we were at and everyone in the family likes Mexican, so we tried it. I have to admit it may have been a little different than my kids expected when we arrived as... More

Taco Rico reminds me of the food in Mexico. If you are someone that is looking for the most authentic Mexican food, than look no further. Taco Rico is it! This is not Don Pablo's or El Rodeo. Taco Rico is the real deal. It a little more pricier than the other so called Mexican restaurants but then again Taco... More

I've been here a few times and it never disappoints. It's the closest thing to real Mexican food in the area. The salsa is amazing and packs some heat.

Do not go with much expectations. Food is poor/ at best, average. First, the chips are not made in house, nor the salsa. Even the tortillas are not made fresh. All come from a packet and have the distinct taste of preservatives than the fresh taste. The same taste profile is with all menu items that they serve. You just... More

I haven't had Taco Rico in a while, and I was craving a taco salad. I'm 5 months pregnant and I remembered eating this delicious salad from a restaurant a couple years ago. I didn't know the name, just the location. Made the trip into town and ordered myself a shrimp fajita taco salad and for a surprise a beef... More

We were in town to visit Purdue University campus and wanted a bite to eat before leaving. We chose this restaurant based on the other reviews. We were very disappointed. The salsa, cheese dip and guacamole were very good. We all had various quesadillas (cheese, chicken, shrimp) and they were nothing special. They weren't bad, but I was expecting them... More
