We have had lunch here many times and the food is good - it is pretty much typical buffet food, although their desserts are very good.

Visited recently with my wife while seeing the sights. (The pedestrian bridge across the river is pretty great.) We found this place in an ad & also drove by. I liked the corner & the windows that wrapped around the bldg., lots of light. My 1st impression was that I had traveled back in time to a 1970's cafeteria. There... More

Good ol' home cooking in a cafeteria style restaurant. The place is exceedingly clean, One selects their dessert, salad then the main entree or a burger is that is what you want. Each day has a special but fried chicken is always available. You pour your own drink and select your rolls & condiments. Booths or tables are available. Friendly... More

I came here with some coworkers for lunch and really enjoyed it. It is a cafeteria style where you get a tray and pick up your dessert and extra sides. Than you tell the ladies what your main entrée is and what sides you have. The fried chicken is excellent and you can choose white or dark meat. The sides... More

Ann's is our go to place when we want home cooked with lots of choices. The folks that have worked there have been there for a long time. It is a favorite haunt of locals. Thursday is pork chop night and a clear winner with wife and I. Not the cheapest place in town but I can always get Deviled... More

Best place around for "home cooked" meals, great variety at a reasonable price! Good for all ages. The train overhead is a fave of my grandson's!

My first impression of Ann's by the River was good. Fried pork chop was crisp on the outside, tender on the inside. White beans had been cooked — not just dumped from a can. Fried corn cake was just right. Sweet tea was delicious. My fear of moving across the river was that I would lose sweet tea. That fear... More

This is a cafeteria style restaurant. They have daily specials such as fish or roast beef. The desserts are amazing.

We had walked the Big Four Bridge from Louisville with another couple. It was lunch time and we found Ann's while walking around downtown Jeffersonville, IN. Locals were making their way there and it had been recommended by several merchants in the area that we had asked for advice. I enjoyed the fried fish special. The servings were generous, the...
