My 1st visit was with a group for brunch. What an awesome use of an old church. Plenty of choices for brunch and the food was very good and enjoyed by everyone.

Went with my daughter and her boyfriend for brunch. The salmon flatbread east tasty. It's a nice bfast "appetizer" to share. The pumpkin bread was excellent as well.
Lunch was great, potatoe soup, turkey melt and frittata lunch special. Setting is very nice. Sneaking Decon, Popemeal Stout, Absolution Amber were all good selections. Now on our list when back in Indy
Will be back as soon as I can, not just a unique and welcoming atmosphere but offers fresh brews and fantastic dishes to match. My friend and I sampled just the poutine and some drinks quickly coming to full faith in the dinner menu even...tho we weren't late enough for it! The poutine was perfect tho for the price one might wish for more like the donation box on Sundays. Can't fault my flight at all! What a great option of two ingredient style cocktails to add in especially treating those enjoying beer in a reformed service. My friend's house made sangria was just like the water turned to wine ages ago, the best stuff. We regretted not being hungry enough to try the authentic sausage sampler, leaves many reasons to come back to increase our faith, friendly service, plenty of space, easy parking unlike most downtown spots, and that menu all good variety and things I want to try.More
Nice enough place although note that the menu on their website is out of date. As a vegetarian I had been looking forward to having the vegetarian Wellington so was really disappointed to discover that they had changed their menu without updating their website. The...vegetarian dish I had was tasty enough but it was supposed to be a pie and just had a thin layer of pastry on the top. mostly I was just eating a bowl of peas, green beans and sweetcorn so it wasnt very filling and I was glad to have some of my party's fries to fill up. Staff were friendly and everyone was enjoying the quiz so the atmosphere was good, just a shame about the dish i hadMore
We have been here a couple of times for lunch. Once with just a few of us and once as a larger group. The service has always been great and there is a nice selection of food for lunch. The dinner menu looks even better,...but we haven't made it there for dinner yet, but will. We enjoy the ambience in an old church and it is just a very nice overall eating experience. Will return.More
We had reservations for a large party on a Saturday night. The buidling and atmosphere were very interesting and beautiful. The service was excellent, the beers were great, I loved having a flight of beers to try a variety of different brews. The entire party...had a really great experience, the staff, the food, the service. First time we had been there, but it certainly won't be the last!More
We stopped here with our 20-something son & girlfriend for dinner on a Sunday night before a Phoenix theater show. It's just a few minutes walk from the theatre with much easier parking (on a Sunday, at least) than Mass Ave. It's in a renovated...church so I suspect is very noisy when fuller than when we were there (5:00pm), but we enjoyed relative quiet and quick and friendly service. As you'd expect at a brewpub, the beer choices were good and the beer very good. What we particularly enjoyed though was the menu with everything from our appetizers of steamed mussels and cheddar cheese fondue to main courses of a turkey melt, burger and Claus' sausage plate. Desserts -- a bread pudding and brownie ala mode -- were tasty and huge. More than enough for 2 people, maybe even 3 or 4. My husband and I split a side salad and the sausage plate that came with 4 different types along with a tasty German-style (warm mustard) potato salad and spicy cole slaw. Well above average pub food and the service was great. Would be ideal for groups or meeting after work, too. Under-21 also allowed. Dinner for 4 including appetizers, main dishes, dessert and drinks, but not a tip, was $113.More
Where else but a Catholic Cathedral should a Brewery be built. The ceilings, the expansive size of the sanctuary and great beer to boot..
Sometimes it’s hard to find great beer and food at the same location. That’s not the case at St. Joseph’s. Beer, food, service, and atmosphere are all great!
