We ate lunch here today prior to touring Oldfields to see it decorated for Christmas. It is certainly in a convenient location to do that, but we were very disappointed in the quality and price of the food. 3 sandwiches and 3 bottles of water for $48. Ouch! This would have been OK had the sandwiches been over the top... More

I enjoy the fare. If I could not afford it, I would probably give a lower review. For a museum to appeal to a broader range of society, it must somehow work an affordable lunch menu into its meal programming.

The chicken fingers kid meal was very delicious. It came with 3 pieces each meal and my young kids only ate one piece each. It also came with a bowl of fruits. The salmon salad was excellent; both the Cuban sandwich and the turkey cranberry Brie sandwich were very tasty. The prices are on the high side; however, considering the... More

We were rained out at the nearby Major Taylor Velodrome and were looking for a nice place nearby for lunch. The Museum of Art was suggested and we headed over. What a delightful restaurant! Each dish was beautifully (and artistically!) prepared and we had a lovely table by the window looking out over the grounds and fountain. Highly recommended!

We have eaten in many museum cafes across the country and this IS one of the BEST for variety and atmosphere. The Café over looks the outdoor fountain and some garden areas. The food is diverse with sandwiches, salads and soups .There is definitely something for everyone- including vegetarian and gluten free options. We had eaten there 20+ years ago... More

Over the years, IMA has had many dining options, most were quite good. Now it's just one and you order at a counter. Our crab cake sliders, spinach melt, 2 teas, and a side salad (overwhelmed with raisins) were fine, but overpriced at $30. Future trips to IMA probably won't include lunch.

This is a really lovely cafe, and I don't know of anyone who likes to go to the Indianapolis Art Museum regularly (maybe several times a year) with family, friends, visitors, who doesn't enjoy including a stop here for a nice lunch or teatime (as in the British light late afternoon meal) experience. It's not 'cheap eats', however, the value... More

Decor, service, price, and of course the menu for lunch yesterday was wonderful. This new café will become a favorite for anyone who visits.

My mom and I ate there Sunday afternoon on our visit to the museum. I ordered a hot turkey sandwich and my mom ordered a club sandwich. They were both excellent! It was $11.00 a sandwich but I thought it well worth it for the museum setting and quality of food. They also have items marked "gluten-free" which would be... More

We had an excellent meal here! The atmosphere is great, the food was hot and very good. The menu has excellent selections (although if you're a picky carnivore you may have problems), and the dessert was both made of high quality ingredients and half-price when you buy an entree - an irresistible combination.
