I have been eating here for over 5 years and the food is always excellent and staff friendly. Prices very reasonable. The soup that is free with each meal is always wonderful. Bobba tea is very good as well.

We went here the other day for early supper. We were seated promptly. All the dishes were $7.99. I had the fried pork, which came with rice. It was nicely seasoned and generous. For dessert, I had the small sesame balls with bean paste. At first I was a bit concerned as I did not see many Asians, but I think most of the customers were regulars. I wonder how I did not know about this place sooner.

My agency partner was raving about a lunch spot that I needed to try. So yesterday we went to visit the Taiwan Tea House and I was not disappointed! This place may look like every other Asian carry-out restaurant but it was not! Besides, the prices are incredible, the portions are large, the food tastes great and the service was fantastic. Order the General Tso if you want your tastebuds to thank you. They have a new lifelong customer. Glad I opened an office down the road.

I have been eating at this restaurant with my family and friends for the last 5 years. The food is always fresh and tastey. The simple soups that accompany the dinners are excellent. The best boaba teas in Indy. Service is always prompt and friendly.

About 30 teas $3 or less, but many excellent entrees with soup and 2 Rangoon for $7. My General Tso was great, my wife chicken fried rice was good. Sweet and efficient service

This is a really good Asian restaurant that we have been to many times. The selections are not just Chinese but Asian. They have a nice selection of items. They have a special beef noodle soup that they make frequently that is awesome. Carry out is good. The bao bao tea is really tasty with the tapioca balls.

Love the asparagus house speciality-it's the best! The huge Boba teas are amazing with huge tapioca balls and lots of fruit flavors to choose from. Great prices for very flavorful fresh food. Taiwan Tea House is a hidden gem.

I gave this restaurant an excellent review when I first discovered it. After eating there many, many times since with my wife, I wanted to review it again to declare that it is the BEST Asian food in Indianapolis. Period. If you are a fan of Asian food, you MUST visit the Taiwan Teahouse. It is unlike any other venue. First of all, the ingredients in their dishes are absolutely fresh. The sauces are light and flavorful and not at all syrupy like most other Asian restaurants. My wife and I especially love their Asparagus with Chicken, Shrimp, or Pork dish. The value is unbeatable. You get a large dish generously filled with your entrée selection, 2 delicious wontons, and soup for $6.99. All menu selections cost $6.99. The menu is rather limited but that doesn't matter much when everything is so delicious. One of their specialties than can be found in very few other places is boba (bubble) tea. Boba are tapioca balls that are fun and delicious. You slurp them up in these large straws. They are always soft, tender--kind of like very soft gummies. The tea is a cold drink in a tall glass that is available in many flavors--with or without boba. The service at Taiwan Teahouse is unbelievable. Within 1-3 minutes of ordering, you will be served a large bowl of delicious soup. Your entrees will typically follow in another 2-5 minutes. The owners are friendly and are eager to please. The restaurant is very casual and simple but clean and comfortable. It is located in a strip mall on 82nd and is not easily seen from the street (it is next to Office Max and Lazy Boy Furniture) so you need to seek it out a bit. Do yourself a favor and check this place out. You will be delighted, just as my wife and I have been many times over.

This restaurant serves up wonderful Asian dishes made with fresh ingredients and light sauces. The menu does not feature your typical "Chinese Restaurant" offerings--it presents unique creations you may not have had elsewhere. Everything we have had there has been delicious. This restaurant also specializes in boba or bubble tea which is made from fruit and milk and optional chewy tapioca balls. If you have never had boba tea, that alone is worth a trip there. The ambiance is rather basic but the restaurant is clean and they have friendly wait-staff. Service is very good--you will be getting your soup a few minutes after arrival. All of this comes at a bargain price. Meals with soup, main dish, rice, and 2 crab rangoon are, I believe, somewhere around $7.00 (lunch or dinner). A bargain for a FRESH, delicious, unique Asian meal with generous portions. It is in a strip mall so you can't easily see it from the street--you need to drive into the parking lot to find it. Try this place out--I think it will become one of your favorites too.

Their Coconut Green Tea with Boba's is the only thing I've tried here and I keep going back for it over n over. It's a must try and no one has better than these guys.

Seriously, I love stopping by here for a delicious, refreshing boba (bubble) tea when I am in the area. The food is good too, and at a great price, but the boba tea is what makes the trip for me.

Came here for late lunch. Most of the people eating then were Asian, so that's always a good sign. The menu is relatively small, but their dishes were fantastic. They use high grade ingredients in their authentic dishes. The Mapo soup was wonderful, albeit pretty spicy. I had the spicy dumplings and they made me perspire a bit. The staff was very nice and friendly. The best part was when we got our check; this place is extremely reasonably priced. This might be the best Asian take-out place in Indy.

Location is good in the midst of a strip mall and other shops. The decor is nice and simple, not 'crowded' or 'busy'. The menu is simple but had enough choices. We came in the late afternoon so seating was no problem and food was served quickly. The bubble tea was good. The tapioca balls was just right. I had the Deep fried pork with noodles. The broth and noodle was light and went well with the deep fried pork. The pork was sliced thin but still had enough chew to it. Service was also good, as mentioned, there wasn't many customer at the time we were time. If you're looking for a simple meal with very reasonable price. This is a place of consideration.

Came here late on Saturday night. The hours are great. Even at 9 PM, many people arrived and had dinner. The dishes smelled delicious, and the restaurant was crowded with couples and families, sharing small dishes. We came only to order bubble tea, fruit smoothies and teas that are blended, with large tapioca balls added to the bottom. Granted, it was 9 PM, but the restaurant ran out of tapioca. Only 1 out of 5 of us were able to order bubble tea. The tapioca also was not very fresh, but was hard. The smoothies by themselves were fairly good.

I could eat here every day. The asian type food is so good. Also very consistent. The price is remarkable.....as there have been occasions that I've had enough left-overs for another meal. My most favorite thing on the menu is the Bubble Tea. This is a fun drink with tapioca balls in the bottom. As you drink it the balls move through the straw......Just try it...you will NOT be disappointed.
