Store bought hummus no longer cuts it - and I can blame Sam's Gyros. I really have become that snobbish of a hummus fanatic - and this spot has some of the best. I love the atmosphere and after a hard day - I was one of those customers: those who come in close to closing, but I was served... More

Excellent gyros, delicious french fries, great service at a fair price. What more could you ask for in fast food?

I was disappointment in the quality of the food compared to the price. The meat or the gyros was very dry with little cucumber sauce and the pitas were cheap store bought and seemed a bit stale. I would recommend going elsewhere given the price and quality.

The gyro's were really nothing special, rather bland sauce. Service was very slow even though they weren't very busy.

I am just so excited to live in the SoBro area. Finally, I live in a real jazzy part of town with amazing food I can walk to. And not just one great place near me, but several - Sam's Gyros, included. Love the ambiance inside - and it seems to attract less of the drunken ego crowd I can't... More

Sam's Gyros has been a longtime favorite of my family. We went when it was just a small single storefront, and have watched it enlarge and improve. All the while, the gyros and salads have been great. It's on an easy to access corner in Sobro. Plenty of seating in its enlarged dining area. Great homey service. Reasonable prices in... More

They have some of the best hummus around. Even the small order is too much for two people. They serve it with piping hot pita bread that goes with perfectly. It's a little hole in the wall place but a good bite to eat if you're in the area.

Such a little hole in the wall, but the falafel is excellent. One of the best I've had in Indy. I wish I went here more often than I do.

Checked reviews before going in and thought we were in for a good Middle Eastern meal. The saganaki was just a lump of breaded cheese melted. Our table had chicken shawarma, beef shawarma, gyros and spinakopita. None of them were very good. They meat was definitely lacking any flavor. May be they were leftovers from the previous day?

The gyro was good but they nickle and dime you for the things that typically come with them , like lettuce, tomato and onion. Presentation is nothing to write home about ether. Just a plain gyro on a plain plate. service pretty much sucked. she was unfriendly and was acting like she was super busy and there were only two... More
