Well let me tell you that if you haven't eaten here you are in for a real treat. The stuffed cabbage, corn beef on rye and matsaball (sp) is just wonderful. Every time we come near this place we make a real effort to eat...More

Reuben is seemingly pricey, but easily serves two people. The German potato salad hot and a pleasant surprise when thinking of plain ol' potato salad.

The old place has lost its charm. Food smaller, not as good. Brisket sandwich, chicken plate, two beers, $37.00. Convenient parking for game but not the lunch treat it once was

Amazing. Had the rueben and pastrami. Liked the pastrami more. Not a fan of the mac...but loved the 1970 lunch room style and atmosphere. Free WiFi.

If you looking for fancy, this isn't your place. This is an old school New York style deli. Cafeteria style set up featuring very good food with ample portions. When in town, I always stop here!

Shapiro's is one of rhe oldest eating establishments in downtown indianapolis. It boasts a huge and varied menu of delicatessen items and makes great large sandwiches to order. But you may be SOL if you're a vegan or vegetarian.
