Yats looks like a little neighborhood place, but smart folks would travel for MILES for food this unique and delicious. They have a daily board with their Cajun favorites, and diners can choose a single item order, like Gumbo, or a half and half split order with two favorites. I picked up dinner, which was ready to carry out in... More

Fast food with flair...great for vegetarians! Easy in and out...funky atmosphere. We enjoy lunch every other week or so. It is consistently very good.

I used to live right across the street from Yats. Ate there a lot then, go back every chance we get. Outstanding food. Love their attitude. Take cash...but if you don't, they'll give you an IOU..really. And people are always in there paying their IOUs, it's just another reason to live Yats on College!

We ate here on our way out of town. The service was very fast and very friendly! They don't serve the same thing every day so it's important that you look up their menu online before you go to make sure they have what you are looking for. I can't imagine you not finding something you would enjoy! Their full... More

Our family never comes to Indianapolis without stopping at Yats. Consistently delicious. Reasonably priced. The meat eaters and the vegetarians among us both love Yats. Really good pralines this trip, too.

This is my favorite Yats cause the atmosphere is dive enough to be cool. Chili Cheese Etouffee with crayfish is "crack".

I'm a southern person and was taken here by a local friend to have "some of my food". Didn't expect much from a Yankee Cajun restaurant but WOW !! Etouffee was amazing and white chili was better. Sausage jambalaya was to die for.. take your time and go there.. it's worth it !!

Met a friend for lunch here the other day. You know what you get with Yats - lots of food at a reasonable price. The bread it outstanding and the employees are always friendly.

I always have to check this place out when I am in Indy. It was one of our neighborhood favorites when we lived in Broad Ripple. Simple white rice on a ate with some cajun "stews" on the top served with a delicious side of buttered bread. Cheap and worth a try. You'll be hooked. Get the B&B!

Spent 6 years in Indy for school and this was one of my favorite places to chow down at. It. Is. Amazing! I've tried many of the options. Some of the best being the b&b, drunk chicken, maque choix spinach and mushroom etoufee, white chicken chili and many more. Haven't found anything that can compare to it in the cities... More
