Have not had a chance to visit here in a long, long time (like about 19 years). So glad that some things never change. Their onion rings have to be the best you will ever eat. Not greasy at all. Need to get back again and much sooner and try out their indoor seating area.

Breaded Tenderloin, Onion Rings and Root Beer! Still the same after all these years! Grew up in Speedway and Mug - n-Bun has always had the greatest atmosphere!

This is an old fashioned drive in, but they added an indoor seating building. The root beer is good. The menu is what you would expect. The tenderloiin is a generous portion and pretty good. The sweet potato fries were good. They have a curious fried cheese thing that one of us enjoyed. The service is very friendly. It is... More

This Drive In has been in business for more than 50 years. It's the kind of greasy drive in food you have come to expect and love. The food was not all that great but the service was good and friendly. You drive up, flash your lights, and they come and take your order. They do have a large menu,... More

We've been coming here for over 30 years. People say its changed but I haven't noticed it. It's still good and still greasy and still one of our favorite places.

My kids BEG to visit this place every time we are in Indy! The service is fast and friendly and the shakes are the best I have ever had. I highly recommend the peanut butter and chocolate shake - our favorite. It is a bit pricey, but worth the treat!

We got take out from mug n bun on 7/30. We haven't been in a few years, the quality of food has gone down hill! The chicken sandwich took up literally half of the bun, the pizza burger was as dry as an old leather shoe! I really hope they return to the old ways and the quality improves!

If you like homemade root beer, and coney's then this place is for you. Tenderloins and burgers are great too. Go more than once because you will always want more than you are able to eat.

My family and I made our first trip to Mug-n-Bun. I read an article about it in Edible Indy. It was nostalgic. It does not looked like it has changed much over the years. We each got a burger and fries and onion rings. My kids got the Root beer and it was also a hit. It was definitely worth... More
