Every once in a while you want the drive in experience. This place hasn't changed in the 20 years since I've been here. A big tenderloin is exactly what I wanted

Favorite local Drive-in. Flash your lights and they come to your car, sit outside at picnic tables or eat inside when it's cold out. Great tenderloins, homemade rootbeer, best BLTS around. Onion rings and mushrooms are awesome.

There are not many drive-ins like Mug-n-Bun and this place is a throw back in time. The quality of the food is average but it is the experience as a whole that made it cool. Guests are allowed to smoke in their cars so if you don't mind second hand smoke, Mug-n-Bun is worth a visit. Service was great too.

When I moved to Indy everyone kept raving about this. Being that it has been open forever and one of the few drive-ins left in operation curiosity got the best of me. They did have a wide selection on their menu but almost everything on the menu was fried. The food was adequate but nothing unique. When we went inside... More

Just stopped by on a whim. Great curbside service and fast too. Tenderloins and homemade root beer are awesome. Many things to choose from. They are open year round.

We chose to sit outside and that was our mistake. The tables are old and not in good shape. Seems like they could improve the outside dining. Regardless the food is good comfort/ drive-in food. We had hot dogs, chili dogs and onion rings.

Have not had a chance to visit here in a long, long time (like about 19 years). So glad that some things never change. Their onion rings have to be the best you will ever eat. Not greasy at all. Need to get back again and much sooner and try out their indoor seating area.

Breaded Tenderloin, Onion Rings and Root Beer! Still the same after all these years! Grew up in Speedway and Mug - n-Bun has always had the greatest atmosphere!

This is an old fashioned drive in, but they added an indoor seating building. The root beer is good. The menu is what you would expect. The tenderloiin is a generous portion and pretty good. The sweet potato fries were good. They have a curious fried cheese thing that one of us enjoyed. The service is very friendly. It is... More

This Drive In has been in business for more than 50 years. It's the kind of greasy drive in food you have come to expect and love. The food was not all that great but the service was good and friendly. You drive up, flash your lights, and they come and take your order. They do have a large menu,... More
