Very impressed with the sushi. The four rolls my wife and I were as good as they get. However, salad dressing was bland and soup had an odd, not so good flavor. Pricing was confusing, we felt overcharged. Waitress seemed I indifferent to our questions, so we dropped it. May not go back over bill.

We thought this is one of the best in town based on their long history and other online review. The food is mediocre at best. The service is extremely slow and waitress even forgot what we ordered and kept us waiting for an extended period. We were very disappointed with this place. Korean Mama' is far better if you don't... More

This was a great experience. The food was delicious, as always. Tried warm sake for first time and was pleased. Thank you!

My parents started taking me to Sakura when I was a kid, and I loved the miso soup, tempura, edamame and chicken teriyaki (all are still incredible). As new dining options have opened in Indy over the years, I've been excited to try different Japanese restaurants, but nothing beats this place on freshness and flavor. The nigiri here is surprisingly... More

Never fails to deliver authentic Japanese food in generous American portions. The quality is always fresh. The salad is still so crunchy fresh with its special Japanese dressing.

I heard about Sakura and have driven past it several times but was leery. I went in and first I must say the place was crowded but we were able to get a table. The service was decent for it to be a busy night. I ordered the soft shell blue crab roll and a couple of rolls with smoked... More

We used to eat here a lot when we first moved to the north side but the service got to be suspect so we started going to Tomo instead which was good but decided to give Sakura a try again. Glad we did as service has been great each time. The sushi is always fresh but often the rolls aren't... More

Tucked away at 71st and Keystone is Indy's best kept sushi restaurant. Famous not only for the fresh rolls, but also for the celebrity that have visited and left their autographs on the wall, it's a hole in the wall with class. Takes reservations - amazing. Sit at the bar, or a secluded booth. The staff is friendly and knowledgeable.... More

Everything about Sakura is worthy of the five stars given. And Sakura is unlike even the other awesome sushi hotspots in town I enjoy. I love that the restaurant, its staff, and the food has character. Fresh, buttery sushi and sashimi were the names of the game, loved the miso soup and the house salad (spectacular dressing!), and the deep... More

Between a pleasantly full house for a Tuesday evening and many take out orders, three sushi chefs were kept busy. The sushi was made of fresh ingredients (i sat at the bar and watched them work). Try one of the specialty rolls.
