A friend asked us to go. Having been to a real cafe in Morocco a few months earlier that we loved, had to see how Moroccan it was. The food was prepared and presented in true Moroccan style, and delicious, I might add. Even the wine was from the mother country. Plus, in authentic Moroccan style, it was overly generous... More

Excellent taste, the honey tajine was a pure delight. A bit disappointed by the baklava, rather dry. Our kids took 2 different pasta dishes that were excellent. The room is rather small but considering the location, not surprising. We had dinner on the terrace, quiet and cozy. Average service. A very nice experience overall. Will go back.

So glad you had a nice experience, Chris! It sounds like the tajine and the pasta really hit the spot. Thank you for the feedback on the baklava, though. Dry food doesn't sound like us, and we'll work on that for next time you come by. Best, Chef Sentissi, Owner More

After visiting Morocco, I was always looking to fins the same tastes stateside. I was told about Saffron Cafe through my searching and tried it out. Wow! It was so delicious. It was like I was back in Meknes. I loved the Lamb Tajine. The waiter was very friendly and I met the chef while trying to park and he... More

It was a special occasion and that was exactly how we were treated. We have eaten at the Saffron Cafe on several occasions and the food and hospitality of the owners and staff has never disappointed. We had reservations and were seated immediately upon our arrival. Once again the food was exceptional and we were made to feel not only... More

We had our dinner at Saffron Cafe for the first time. This was a relatively large (party of 10) on a Saturday early evening. Though it took some looking around, there was plenty of street parking on the street behind the restaurant (free on weekends). Since our reservation was at 6 PM, the restaurant was nearly empty when we arrived.... More

I took my oldest daughter to Saffron Café for dinner. We had a lovely dinner: Chicken Tajine, and Moroccan Paella. Good service. Very nice Moroccan Red wine paired well with Paella. Also enjoyed the Sweet Moroccan green tea- hot.

The food is good but you have a 50/50 chance of them having your car towed for their own gain along with Last Chance Towing which is right behind them. Avoid this scam unless u take a cab, the bus or bicycle

Took my daughter and her best friend out for dinner at Saffron Café. The waiter was very attentive and informative (our first time) and made great suggestions like the Moroccan Hot Tea- delicious. We ordered the Saffron Fettuccini Alfredo with shrimp, the Shawarma (Gyro) sandwich plate, and the Tajine Tanjiya. Everything was very flavorful and perfectly cooked. We took some... More
