Love coming to McNiven's for my wife's Haggis craving...it is oh so tasty and reminds us of our trip to Scotland some years ago. I am thankful that the portion of Haggis, Neeps (turnips), & Tatties (potatoes) is so big that I get her leftovers. I truly like McNiven's Fish & Chips as well as their crazy plate-sized burger...but I... More

Always a fun time when I visit MacNivens. You can count on good food and lots of craft beers on tap. The staff is always great too. Never had to wait long for a table or service.

We had a great time with friends. The service was phenomenal. And the food was good but not outstanding. The one drawback to this place is how loud it is. It's not at all relaxing and I didn't really get a "pub" vibe from it either. I'm not really sure where the sound is all coming from because there was... More

I do enjoy this place... I like stopping in every chance I get... I want to try a different Scotch each visit. I enjoy the Scotch eggs too..

We searched a while to find this gem but worth it. Very busy as it was the Mad March Basket ball season on tv. We had been looking for some traditional English fair and this place did not disappoint. Scotch eggs were perfection and the steak pie well the crust just melted on your tongue. Great service and atmosphere helped... More

My entire drive to Indy my husband was looking forward to trying haggis but when we got there no one under 21 allowed. Had to share so others know. We did not see this in any review we looked at it on their site.

MacNiven's was having a quiet night when we visited. The menu was fairly standard pub grub with a UK flavour. You could actually order haggis - one of our party did - it was a sort of Americanized version but fairly tasty. Burgers and fish & chips were good. All in all, OK on the food front. Where MacNiven's stood... More

We came in for drinks after arriving in Indianapolis late afternoon. Lots of locals were in enjoying the Indiana game. It was a relaxing atmosphere and the service was great!

Thankfully they are open on Sunday afternoon for lunch. This restaurant had a large food menu, full bar and an extensive list of craft beers. Although we only sampled the Scotch eggs and loaded potato skins. We were pleased with the preparation and flavor and look forward to a return visit. Perhaps stew on a cold winters day!

We've only been here once but the food was delicious! We shared potato skins - been a while since we had those. They were wonderful - crisp but full of potato and fixings. Then we each had a sandwich and shared onion rings. Literally these are 4 or 5 inches wide. But crunchy and just the sweetest onions! I had... More
