We came for Devour Indy and will definitely be back! We had the sea bass and the swordfish - both were excellent! Portions were large and every course was delicious. The atmosphere was perfect for a date night. We appreciated that our waitress let us...take our time and didn’t rush the courses. However, there was no distancing between tables. Other than that, we loved Salt!More

There were salt lamps on the tables and everything was appropriately priced. The server was great at recommending some drinks and I’d come back here for food as well

Just had two great meals here. First night so good we returned the next night. Terrific seafood and one of the best steaks I have had in Indy. Exceptional service and tasty deserts combined with nice vibe. Highly recommend you give it a try.

Very close to passing on this place, very happy we did not pass! Relaxing and great atmosphere. Calamari was very good. Had both fish specials, Hawaii wahoo was excellent, the shrimp were exceptional. Mahi and scallops were very pleasing. The lemon butter sauce on both...dishes were fabulous. Only concern was both vegetables were very slightly uncooked, better than over cooked. Overall this is a recommended stop! Fresh and delicious. Service was excellent. Great date night place.More

Beutifull restautant, I've got fish halibut well done with white dry wine tasting really good. Price 50$, expensive but I'll back again.

Salt on Mass is a fine dining establishment, offering well-prepared seafood (though they do offer land-based choices) in a formal-but-relaxed atmosphere, i.e., no particular dress code. They have a good cocktail and wine list to choose from. My wife and I dined on the Saturday...before the Indianapolis 500 race, so the restaurant was packed (reservations definitely needed). I ordered the evening’s special, red snapper with two sea scallops, and a side of southern greens. Snapper was a skinned filet and prepared blackened. My wife ordered flounder with a side of deep fried cauliflower (half a cauliflower, which was plenty to share and was quite excellent). We ordered a bottle of the Groth Sauvignon Blanc that went well with both of our dishes. For dessert, we split an opera cake, layers of chocolate mousse on a cake layer over raspberry purée. Food was very good but the service was uneven. Our server did not check back as often as she should have, which resulted in overly long wait times between courses. Nonetheless, a very good dining experience.More

As a native Floridian who lives in Maryland, I have pretty high standards for seafood. So, on a first visit to Indianapolis, I wasn't sure picking a seafood place would be the right choice. But, Salt on Mass delivered outstanding and delicious freshness with catches...flown in daily accompanied by locally sourced sides. Service was friendly and kind and efficient. The setting is beautiful with large windows and a corner location that allows you to enjoy your meal while watching the buzz of activity outside on very hip Mass Ave, and all within sight of downtown skyscrapers. My friend and I ordered scallops and the catch of the day, both of which were prepared perfectly and deliciously. A nice wine list and a great bar area also add to the superlatives. The nautical vibe is underscored by blues and pale woods that make it feel like a cross between South Florida and Cape Cod. On our way out, we chatted with the gracious co-owner and she explained her husband-co owner's connection to Florida. It all made sense, it all works and Indianapolis is lucky to have its own version of stylish East Coast seafood place that delivers on quality, taste and service with Hoosier hospitality.More
