Has been a small local chain for about 15 yrs, now going National. Food no longer made on site, but quality has not suffered much. All dishes over rice and vary day by day (black board menu). Highly innovative, and employee individuality and humor an asset to atmosphere. For a while they carefully labeled gluten free and took pride in... More

Was pleasantly surprised by their vegetarian offerings. I'll definitely return for the BnB (Black Beans and Caramelized Corn), one of the best vegetarian fast-food meals I've eaten. Their food is affordable and tasty.

Come here if you want a good Cajun meal and don't want to travel to New Orleans. My husband and I both ordered different half and half meals and everything was tasty. The bread was an added bonus; buttery and garlicky. Very inexpensive night out if you're on a budget, too.

My son and I love this place and have eaten there for several years. If you like cajun you won't go wrong here. I get the Chili Cheese Étouffée every time. The food is authentic and served quickly. Put it to you this way best cajun fast food you can get.

Simple barebones setting. Order at the counter and pickup on the side. Best Creole/Cajun since we were in NOLA. Half and Half is the way to go. I tried the H&H Drunken Chicken and Jerk Chicken Etouffee and my wife had the H&H Gumbo and Creole Chicken! All were fantastic. Items change daily and are posted on the chalk board.... More

If you like cajun food you will love Yat's! My favorite is the Chili Cheese Etouffee. My wife usually gets the Red Beans and Smoked Sausage. Be sure and order extra bread!

The food is decent. Limited selection is more a "here's what we have today" list on the blackboard...which is fine. Usually, the counter person is some tattooed kid with his eyes glued to his laptop. But this has been true at several of the locations. Food quality is good. I prefer the chili cheese etouffee and the garlic bread is... More

My wife and I ate at Yat's last night for the first time. Being vegetarians, we ordered the two veggie meals that were on the menu that day -- B&B and a Spinach/Mushroom dish. Both were served over white rice and just looked ... well, not appetizing. But, from the first bites of each (we shared), they were delicious. We... More

There is a reason YATS is franchising all over Central Indiana and slowly spreading across the Midwest. I count at least 13 locations to date! The food is unique, affordable, and consistent. They do have a rotating menu but we love almost everything so that isn't a problem. My kids grew up on the cheese and rice plate w two... More
