Our server left us with no drink order or food for quite some time before coming back to attend to our table. The server failed to mention that there were some seasonal appetizer specials for the evening and we had to ask about them. We...were with two other couples. Each steak enteee that was ordered came out a full 10 mins prior to the chicken and risotto everyone else ordered. The food was just OK. This was our 2nd time at Copper Spoon so we were unimpressed when some of the dishes we had ordered on our previous trip came out unlike the last time we ordered. I had the Chicken Breast with risotto that was so undercooked it was inedible! Being that I was entertaining my brother and his wife as well as my parents from out of town we did not bother with complaining, we just took this L in silence. Be wary of the Spoon, consistency is the key to return customers. For that we won’t be returningMore

I am sorry to hear your most recent visit was not up to par. I would hope that your previous visit would show you that we are capable of better. As is the case with all restaurants right now, we are very short handed and...More

Copper Spoon is one of the more upscale bars in Fort Wayne. The drink masters know their stuff, and the atmosphere is elegant. I did not try the food.

Met with family at the Copper Spoon for dinner. The olive and the morel mushroom appetizers were delicious. My strip steak was cooked perfectly at medium rare. It was the best strip steak I've ever had at a restaurant, and I'm in my 70's. The...service was professional and attentive. We will go back.More

Beautiful bar with fabulous cocktails in this restaurant that looks like far less than it is from the exterior. Yummy food and extremely friendly staff. Very nice experience and we'll return the next time business finds us in Fort Wayne.

We came to Copper Spoon for a birthday meal. We ordered the charcuterie board and a spinach salad to share for an appetizer (we took half of the charcuterie home) and we each had a cocktail. They were were all marvelous. When it came time...to order an entree, I went for the scallops, and they were amazing. Truly delicious. My partner didn’t see anything on the menu that suited him. There were not very many choices. He ended up ordering a $14 hamburger that came with nothing. Back to the charcuterie. It came with a generous variety of meats and cheeses, and a very small quantity of bread. When we asked for some more bread, it took 15 minutes. Here’s the thing about the bread. When we got the check we were disappointed to find an additional charge for a small quantity of bread. And this was on a bill bill that otherwise came to $140 for appetizers, two entrees, and two rounds of drinks. The food was good, but we felt that there need to be more entree choices and that for what is a higher priced meal in this city, there is no need to nickel and dime the guests. We may be back, because the food was good, but we are hesitant based on this experience.More

Meir, thank you for taking the time to share your honest feedback. We are still rebuilding the restaurant due to the pandemic, and as much as I don't want this to be evident to guests, it does present us with limitations and challenges. With a...More

The place doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it has a very pleasant subdued atmosphere on the inside with low lighting, copper tones, and rock and stucco facades. The space is a little small. Our booth was completely surrounded by stucco and faced...the bar. We were so close that I was essentially staring at the people there. My husband and I had the New York strip. It came with Yukon potatoes and broccoli. Everything was excellent. Even the broccoli was good with the way they seasoned it. I drank a couple of Old Fashioneds. They were good, but they did not include the cherry. The service was really good too.More

Really enjoyed the vibe here. We sat in one of the private seating areas in the bar room, and had a kind of picture of the bar activity. We had the charcuterie board (exceeded expectations), the octopus appetizer (below expectations- not enough octopus, but wonderful...flavors), and the scallop entree. We LOVED the blood orange margaritas- I had the mezcal option- excellent! We'll be back.More

My buddy Josh Messmann and wife Katie raved so much about Copper Spoon, they insisted I go. I must say, I was highly satisfied and will return before heading home. Coming from New York, I had a major league disappointing experience at the minor league...stadium here two year agos ago with my long time friend Paul Bird and for that reason the conversation of Copper Spoon came up with Josh and Katie. We enjoyed fantastic cocktails with an exquisite charcuterie board. Delicious. I love the atmosphere and the service is top notch. I shall return before i had back home because I have to enjoy more of your Diver Scallops! They are the bomb.com! Thank you Messmann's, thank you Paul. It's funny how experiences transcend and good comes about. Most of all, thank you Copper Spoon. Amazing!More

A surprisingly upscale atmosphere with a curated menu ranging from Thai to classic American. The bar seating and decor created a relaxing environment to enjoy the huge range of cocktails and spirits that CS offers. You can tell that everything on the menu has been...thoroughly tested and perfected to fit with the upscale yet comfortable atmosphere. I believe the menu speaks for itself and the addition of the friendly and attentive staff along with the cozy and uncomplicated seating, all served to create an unexpected fantastic meal.More

Raving about the Copper Spoon is easy; trying to determine my favorite element of the dining experience is not. Superior quality of ingredients and meticulous attention to detail with respect to preparation yield exquisite results for the palate. There’s no slouching in presentation either, and...when the food is simply that good, other already favorable aspects of the restaurant as a whole are amplified. Upon entry from the vestibule expect to be greeted by several friendly staff, a mixture of tantalizing aromas and spot-lit shelving that surrounds the hostess stand, containing every imaginable liquor from myriad sources. Quite a sensory amuse-bouche. Wine racks quietly sulk in the shadows to the left, and following them will lead you through the dining area of the bar, replete with thick tables wrapped in—you guessed it—copper. Your fancy might next be tickled by the dim light dancing under stone arches and dark wood accents illuminated like Disney’s Haunted Mansion. I mean that in an ironically elegant and magical way, not creepy. Beyond the exceptional atmosphere and attentive service, there still remains a sensory culmination, the primary focus of my own thoughts: the food. Through four visits I’ve now tried the smutty fries, wings, salmon, Thai noodles, scallops, strawberry pavlova, the NY strip and the ribeye. Holy schneikies, that ribeye. While each dish merits its own recognition, I could shed a tear at how perfect the ribeye has been all three times I’ve had it, IMO topping the more well-known steakhouses for preparation, quality and overall taste. The junk foodie in me does become metaphorically aroused just thinking about the smutty fries, which are actually just lightly fried potato wedges with thinly sliced sautéed onions and seasoned ground beef. Favorite dessert, the strawberry pavlova, or better, call it the strawberry supernova pavlova as it creates a veritable explosion of flavor despite the simplicity of the dish. You’ll eat it even if no longer hungry by dessert. Top the night off with your favorite company, a few drinks from the extensive booze menu, and I don’t think you can get a better dinner experience.More
