Coney Island of Ft Wayne is a great place for chili and all kinds of hot dogs. Top it off with some ice cream. They still serve coke in glass bottles. It has ice cream parlor tables and chairs. Lunch is always full

Coney Island has been in the same location for all of my 60 year life. I believe it is 100 years old. It is a limited menu. Coney dogs mostly. But great coney dogs! Buy one more than you think you will eat. You will want it! The atmosphere is one that will take you back in time. It is... More

This is a must! And only go to the original location downtown for the real deal... there are imitators on the outskirts of town. Straight up the best coney dog, ever with that old time ambiance that you are not going to find elsewhere. Booths line the walls and barstools at the counter (my favorite). Outside of new seat covers, I... More

No reassurance can beat Coney Island Coney dogs! Buns are soft and steamed and Coney sauce is amazing. The onions piled I'm top are perfect. You can get Vine in the old mini glass bottles. The restaurant is a classic 50's diner. For some added uniqueness, park behind the restaurant and walk right through the kitchen area. It makes you... More

We walked over for a Coney dog from ball drop because the couple we were with has never had one. Tasty, quick service, reasonable price.

When I was a kid the Coney Dogs were 3/$.25 and now 1/$1.90 I can't leave until three dogs and a bowl of Chili3. You can still get a 6 oz. glass bottle of Coke here. This place has been around in the same place for over 100 years. Open year round and still has some of the original tables and... More

It's hard to find a place that has good hot dogs. They have good dogs here. It was super busy. The line was long but moved fast. It gives you a chance to watch the whole hot dog making process. These dogs are grilled, not boiled. The buns are steamed. The coney sauce is fresh and hot. The onions are... More

The coney dogs are very flavorful and prepared with the swiftest of precision! The buns help make the coney dogs unparalled!

We always love Coney Island on Main Street. It is the best for their traditional coney dogs, beans, chili and Coke in a bottle. However on Thanksgiving eve or the day after it is a traditional family from out of town or in town tradition. Even standing line is fun because it's tradition for a favorite. We love Coney Island... Best old fashioned hot dog diner around, won't be disappointed. Come hungry. Leave full. Enjoy the old time charm.
