The Moose is a great place for food in a fun atmosphere. The restaurant has a great throw-back diner feel. The food is cooked on a flattop grill and everything is delicious. There house made potato chips are a must. They are seasoned perfectly.

We did not care it was raining we were having lunch with friends. Tenderloin was very tender, not deep fried with a cracker crust. My hamburger was a 50 50 burger made with bacon, oh la, la! The Chocolate Moose sundae was great.hot fudge, peanut butter peanuts and a cherry.

This place is fantastic ! We order Grilled Cheese Sandwiches and I ordered a bowl of the home made chili and my wife order chips. Now first of all the chips were home made. Who makes their own Chips ! Chocolate Moose does ! The Chips were served warm in fact. The Chili was perfection, just spicy enough and served... More

They're perfect, sugary, has a little cinnamon, crispy but soft in the middle. I could eat these everyday if I could afford it! This is a must-stop for anyone who lives in the area or is visiting the area. The price is affordable and as expected. The atmosphere fits the 50s theme and the ladies who work it are so... More

Went there with family friends today. I tried the Big Pig and was very pleased. It's a breaded tenderloin, but not deep fried. It also had ham, bacon, grilled onion, bbq sauce... and COLE SLAW! I was intrigued when I saw it on the menu. Very happy I ordered it.

We've heard people talk about this restaurant so decided to road trip to Farmland. We were greeted by a friendly and very knowledgable waitress. So glad we decided to visit on a Tuesday because it was "Talk to me Tuesday". Everyone at the table puts their electronic devices in a basket and at the end of dinner receives a free... More

We traveled to this special eaterie, and were quite pleased. The food was exceptional; every item. The seating is vintage type, with boots, bar stools, & tables. (Located in a historic area of this beautiful downtown.) The wait staff were exceptionally qualified to describe the preparation of the various menu items, and serviced us in due time. We will RETURN... More

Recently visited the Chocolate Moose for a weekday lunch. The atmosphere tries hard to be a fifties style dinner, but the architecture of the building does not lend itself to this. That being said, do not pass on this little jewel! The staff is incredibly friendly without being annoying. The food is very good, with their specialties being the hand... More

Stopped in here for a quick bite. All the burgers are 1/3 pound and made fresh. Fresh made chips with an awesome seasoning. Finished off the meal with a heaping scoop of ice cream. Everything tasted great, friendly service and helpful. Decorated in 1950's -60's theme with the appropriate music. Will return again!

Great place in a beautiful small Indiana town. We were there on a Talk to me Tuesday and received free dips of ice cream for dessert as we put our cells in the basket on the table and ignored them while we ate.mthe grilled tenderloin was very good. The waitress was kind and attentive. They have several flavones of phosphates... More
