Had an adult birthday gathering and we couldn't have been more pleased. The food was wonderful. The decor is lovely and there is plenty of room so you're not crowded up. We had such a great waitress! Her name is Dannie Sanders and she has...a sweet demeanor and was very attentive to our needs. We will come back and ask for Dannie to wait on us again.More
Fantastic place to eat! Great food and service. The owners of this restaurant are friendly people with great personalities. Our server was very knowledgable of all the dishes. It was a great experience we really enjoyed our dinner and will be going back soon.
My husband and I decided to have our date day here. Upon entering we were seated and it wasn’t very busy, this was late afternoon on a Saturday so they had about 3 other tables. We waited for our server for about 15 minutes just...to take our drink order. No one showed any acknowledgement for us. We thought they must be busy so we decided what we wanted from the menu and continued to wait...nothing. I’m typically a patient person but after waiting 35 minutes and not even getting my drink order taken we decided to leave. I was disappointed as we looked forward to trying the food since all the other reviews were so good.More
If I get the opportunity to choose where we’re going to eat, I always want to go here. The only problem is I get the same thing every single time! The gyro platter is by far one of the best that I’ve ever had. The...value of what you’re getting is beyond belief! There is enough to have for dinner, and come home with a good serving for lunch the next day. The meet is very tender and crisp on the outside. And they give you a bunch of pita triangles to make small gyro . After it’s all said and done you do have to get one more thing, and that is their baklava. It is absolutely amazing!More
We live Acropolis. They are great people. We come here for special meals. Today I had take out for lunch. They have an inexpensive lunch menu, which includes salad and their great fried pita. I particularly like the falafel wrap.
We had lunch here with friends for the first time this past week. Was greeted at the door and seated. Our server brought seasoned fried pita and pita with cinnamon butter before ordering. I had the grilled chicken with a side of tabbouleh. It also...came with a greek salad all for $8.00. We had excellent service and all were more than satisfied with large portions. I look forward to eating here again when in the area.More
Our weekly outing with friends was exceptionally fun this week. We stopped in Friday evening and were unsure what to order when the owner stopped by our table and suggested we let him cook for us. Amazing! Sooo much food served ‘family style’ and absolutely...delicious. I totally disagree about the authenticity of this being a Greek ran restaurant. It has many offerings and is not only Greek cuisine lots to choose from, which is why we didn’t know what to order... so don’t pass up. Well worth it. Thank you chef Doros!!!More
This was our first experience here. We are from Chicago and were visiting for the weekend. Anyone who reviewed this restaurant positively CANNOT have ever eaten real Greek food. EVER!!!!!!
This food is bad. Real bad. And if the owner is Greek I'll eat my...shirt.
He surely isnt.
First....cinnamon butter is NOT Greek. It has no place there.
Marinara is not Greek nor is it used in Greek food.
Saganaki is not served swimming in alcohol. Nor is it a congealed mess in a dish. Just google it if you dont believe me.
Our food was cold. Everything from the fake avalemengo to the lousy rice. The gyro was cold and greasy. Pita should be crisp and warm, not soggy.
The server brought our cups of soup without saucers underneath. That's just bad service.
The manager was snippy when we complained.
All bad signs. Despite the supposed facelift I have to say as a Greek American this is not authentic Greek food.
Sorry....its just not. Not even close.More
