Stopped in after a visit to University of Evansville. Pizza and cheese bread was great. Good and service was great. There was also an arcade area.

It's so rare that you write about a pizza restaurant and don't talk about their pizza but that is exactly what I am about to do. I recently went to Kiplee's and wasn't really in the mood for pizza, although there's is my favorite in...town. So I chose the Kiplee Burger and was I surprised, actually stunned. This was by far one of the best burgers I have ever had Evansville, Indiana or anywhere! The meat was a third pound seasoned and cooked perfectly, I chose Pepperjack cheese on mine which just added to the excellent flavor. It comes served on toasted Texas Toast which also is a plus as you have no stale bun taste. I am not sure what they season the meat with but it was simply delicious at every bite. The burger comes with rippled potato chips (Another favorite of mine) which also allows you to enjoy this magnificent burger. This place is always good, from homemade soups to their fantastic pizza. The only negative here is the crowd, many times families, and I mean large groups of them come in and mom and dad seem to forget who they are allowing the kids to be extremely loud and in some cases running around too much. That alone will not keep me from coming back and now I have great pizza and a great burger I am set along with outstanding service.More

Stopped after touring University of Southern Indiana with college age kid. Located right off the main road through Evansville, about 5 miles from USI. SUPER thin pizza. Lots of cheese. Great taste! Will make this a regular visit if USI works out!

Great food. Cheesy bread is amazing. Thin crust pizza are bested only by Turoni's. Very strict and welcome Covid measures in place. Masks are enforced.

Our first venture out. Very stringent protocols in place. Pleasant waitress and great service. Pizza was average but good. We were quite happy tonight. We were glad to have found this place!

Kipplees has been an Evansville staple for many years. With new owners, Matt and Kaycey, Kipplees ia sure to be around even longer. The beer is still ice cold, prices are still reasonable, and with the addition of some new menu items, the food is...guaranteed to be the bomb!More

I know, I know, every place in town claims to have the "Best Strom in town", but I have not found a better one anywhere. The service is usually good. Highly recommend the Kipplee burger also. Just one word of warning though. If you order...for carry out, the time they give you is a wild guess. I always have to wait longer than told.More

Normally I am a big fan of Kipplee’s. Sadly, on this visit I was a bit let down for a few reasons. I will start with the positive: The pizza my father and step mother ordered was very good, they were very happy with it....Unfortunately my potato/bake/cheese appetizer was terrible. It was pretty much some waffle fries in an aluminum pan with minimal cheese or other toppings to it. I def won’t order that again. My chicken tenders were ok, not bad, just ok. The ranch dressing is what made them taste good. The other person in our party had the cheesy bread and said it was good but that his Stromboli was just so so. Our biggest complaint was the fact that we couldn’t get refills on our soft drinks and tea. After waiting a good 15 minutes for the server to check on us I got up and went and asked for refills. The three of us drinking Diet Coke got a refill after that but the server never did return with the tea as promised for our fourth guest. Just wasn’t a good meal/visit on this particular day.More

Excellent thin crust pizza, cold beer and great service. Recommended Although I really miss Nachilios! If they brought them back, I would be in heaven.

For the price they have one of the best pizza's around the city of Evansville. But for some reason they put very little sauce on their pizza?? Evidently their pizza makers don't understand that the sauce makes or breaks the pizza!! Put some sauce on...your pizza's. You should have to asked for extra sauce. Stromboli's and other sandwiches are all pretty good. Their cheesy bread is some of the best around. Service is usually pretty good.More

Nice clean stop, good pizza and friendly staff but no anchovies. No they were not out they do not serve anchovies on their pizza. I am in town 3 - 4 times a year and will be back because the pizza and beer are good....Next time we stop at a grocery store and pick up anchovies.More
