Whole family loves their homemade calzones and I the caprese salad on their homemade bread. Atmosphere is bright and cheerful in the family area. Waitstaff friendly, helpful and enjoy a good story.

I wonder if the main location in Middlebury is a bit above this location. They cannot seem to get a big following on CR17 in my estimation...def a good place for a beer, wine and a bite of Italian.

Because China Star at the opposite end of this strip mall, I went to this place for the first and last time. The only thing commendable is the iced tea. Otherwise the extensive menu was way over priced, senior menu was chintzy and cheap, and...there were no lunch specials. The server did inform that all subs were $5. Seemed like a good deal. I ordered a roast beef sub. Meat was dry and lacking any real flavor. At least the sub roll was fresh. I ordered it with horseradish sauce and it was slathered with enough sauce for at least another sub. Size was very scant. I have had larger subs at Arby's. However it was edible, but the worst came when paying the check. There was one server for both the bar and dining room. He did a very adequate job. I went up to the bar to pay my bill and immediately to my left was a DRUNK coming onto me in the most lewd manner. (We are both male). I nearly shrieked to the server "Get me out of here". First and last time, never AGAIN!!More

My wife and went to have a bite after shopping and walking around Linton's.It was close and looked homey and it came with a recommendation from a nursery person. We were very happy with the meal, pasta for us both and the service. Good home...cooking and not trying to be overly fancy. Good home cooked meal for hungry folks.More

On Friday 3/16 I ordered (2) 24-inch pizzas, a ham and cheese sub w/fries, an order of Buffalo wings and an order of Barbecue wings, and a 4-piece chicken meal. We picked the food up on time. The wings came with no sauce, the chicken...was labeled broaster, but was deep fried. The pizzas had no flavor. For $110, most was tossed in the trash. Lesson learned on this place.More

We met a few friends and all of us ordered a different dish. My veal & pasta were OK but not very flavorful. One person's lasagna was very soupy and liquidy - not a lot of form to the whole thing. The pizza toppings seemed...to be burned but the taste was adequate despite not having much cheese. The server was great, gave us just the right amount of attention. Last time I ate here everything was good for everybody. Maybe an off night, but I won't hurry back.More

Food was fantastic at a reasonable price. Pizza and pasta cooked just right. Marinara sauce was excellent. Service was excellent with both the food and the drinks. Would recommend this place to everyone! Good place for kids and adults if you're in the mood for...Italian style eats!More

I recently went to Rullis with my sister and while it was OK, it's not the best I've had by a long shot. I had egg plant parmesan which was served with spaghetti. The egg plant was very thin and the edges were very over...done. The pasta was al dente, but the sauce was thin and watery. My sister had the pizza which looked better than the dinner and while she liked it, again it was not the best. The service was good, the decor mediocre and the prices a little on the high side for the quality. All in all it was OK, but not really worth making a special trip to eat there.More

Reasonable prices and good food. I really like the thick crust pizza even though I generally prefer thin crusts. We have eaten there several times and always received good service and good food. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. This is a very...good family Italian restaurant.More
