The Schwartz family runs the resturant, not a corporate chain. All of the food is like what your grandma would cook. Puts Amish resturants to shame. Service is great and food is even better.

as I watched the billboard go by on Interstate 64 I thought finally I will find a good place to eat. I walked in to find it as a cafeteria style restaurant. I almost left. Not my favorite style of eating. I figured I would give it a try as I was very hungry. I got the all you can... More

Schwartz Amish Restaurant is a true find. I normally don't like buffet style but this is worth it. Food all home style organic Amish. We splurged for $10.99 all you can eat. Nothing disappointed. Cute little playground for kids. Not far from I64 on our way to French Lick

We are from Ohio and stopped in here after going on a train ride in French Lick IN. It is buffet style....but everything is homemade and delicious. I can't believe it is run by a family who had 12 kids. You must experience it yourself.

Depends on how good of a cook your Mom was. If she was a good cook then you'll find her food at Schwartz Family Restaurant. The sour cream mashed potatoes are to die for as is the brocoli casserole. This is family food complete with homemade pies. If you catch it on music night you can set a spell and... More

If you are heading south from French Lick, skip all the franchises and stop in at Swartz. It's pretty good, family style, cafeteria style with an "all you can eat" option. It is SUPER clean and very good, courteous service. Did I mention the all you can eat INCLUDES all the pie choices and about a dozen hard ice cream... More

Came in on our way home from West Baden Springs resort. The place was packed. It was the week before Christmas. They even had Santa Claus you could take pictures with. The place is a buffet/cafeteria style. You pick up your tray and pick your foods out. I am gluten free so they did not have many options for me.... More

I thought about giving this place a three because the customer service was great but I have to be honest and let everyone know how big of a let down this place really is. All the reviews and the locals rave about this place. I think people have never eaten anywhere good at that point. My family and I drove... More

Enjoyed by all. Each of the children found menu items they enjoyed and we appreciated the lack of complaints. All are well. Topped off with homemade ice cream with sprinkles.
