It's under a different name now, but the food and service was great. When we are in this area again we will stop to eat. They are closed on Sunday.

The restaurant had a name change -- now it is the Jimador. The food is still delicious, freshly prepared and authentic. Good portion sizes and very tasty.
We all enjoyed good food for a fair price. Nothing fancy but very clean with friendly staff. No complaints here! Recommend!
As a Texan, I have eaten at many, many Mexican restaurants. We stopped here while on vacation, and I was pleasantly surprised at how delicious the food is. The salsa is very good. It does NOT taste like tomato sauce from a can like someone...else on here said. I had chicken on the beach, which I absolutely loved. The chicken was very flavorful, and the rice was really, really good! My husband greatly enjoyed his big burrito, which was actually quite large. I don’t know if I’ll ever be back through Dale, Indiana, but I plan to stop here if I do come back because it’s really one of the best Mexican restaurants I’ve experienced.More
My wife loves Mexican food. So we stopped for lunch. It is an out of the way dive restaurant but the food is very good. Spanish would be a great help in ordering the food.
So glad we stopped here to eat. We started with the cheese dip / chips and salsa. Wonderful, but don't eat too much because the food is really good. I wanted to try one of their special items, something I could not get anywhere else...so I had the Shrimp on the Beach--Grilled shrimp on a bed of rice covered with melted cheese sauce. OMG!!! So decadent and delicious!!! I wanted to lick the dish. My friend had enchilada's and said they were very good too. It is a family restaurant. Children are welcome but they do have a bar too if you'd like a drink. REASONABLE PRICES and Nice Menu. This is the place to stop if you like Mexican food... or want to try something new and cheesy!!More
This meal was after a long day at Holiday World. We were all hot and tired and were not all that hungry. We really liked our food, but THE best part was the guacamole. It was amazing! Next time, we might just make a meal...out of it. It was seriously the best guacamole we have ever had. Our waiter said he made it himself. He was very sweet. I would get yourself here and put some of this guacamole in your stomach!More
The staff was great, that’s why I gave the 2nd star. But the food....oh my.....the margarita was made with strawberry syrup ( and you could taste that it was syrup), the salsa was the most blend salsa ever ( basically tomato sauce directly from the...can. We were the only 4 in the restaurant and it took us an usual lenght of time to get food (usually in Mexican restaurants food arrives pretty quick). And concerning the price too expensive. I wouldn’t certainly drive to this restaurant just to eat here ( it was our only chance to eat, because everything was already closed at 9pm).More
We went here because there's next to nothing in Santa Claus as far as restaurants go. The food was excellent and the staff was friendly. It's our go to restaurant for dinner when visiting Holiday World.
The service was excellent; the food was delicious at a good cost; they have good drinks; and everything was brought out to us very quickly. We stopped here while just staying the night in Dale, but if I lived here, I would eat here all...the time.More
Let me start with the food it's Great. Now that was the good part.. that's the reason I gave them 3 Stars. As far as the employees Children are running Haback all over the place. And the Waitress are too busy socializing with the Customer's...and not taking care of the other Customer's. I ran totally out of Tea 4 times & had to get the Waitress attention all 4 time to refill my Tea glass, this is unacceptable in any Restaurant. Food & Service is all they have to offer their Customers. So they failed on 50% of their score.. No Good ❗More
Our family and friends go to Holiday World every year for two days. After the first day before we go back to our cabins we look forward to driving here to eat! The food is excellent and the staff is very friendly!
Good food and I was pleasantly surprised they were able to take care of our large group without any hiccups!
It's not exactly in a strip mall but there is a Dollar Store next door. Los Dos Charros was a surprising find in the tiny town of Dale. We were passing through town and hungry so stopped in spite of the sketchy appearance. The restaurant...itself has seen better days but is clean enough. The menu offers all the standard fare with reasonable prices. The only oddity was the chili relleno, nothing more than mushy meat covered with cheese and overbaked but the chimichangas, tacos, burritos, etc. were perfectly fine.More
This burrito looked really good, but was a total disappointment. It was loaded.. overloaded... with onions and green peppers but had not the slightest bit of heat. The peppers were all I could taste. And on top of that.. get it? On top of that...They added a mound of iceberg lettuce to The top but neglected to drain it first. The whole burrito was soggy and there was standing water on the plate. Won't be going back.More
