I took my wife here for our 19th anniversary for dinner. The located in a large older home in downtown Crown Point. It makes for a romantic setting. We sat in a small side area that was semi private and romantic. They also have patio dining. The service is good and personal. The food was excellent as well. A friend... More

I went here for dinner earlier this year in May, and - although I wasn't wow'd by it - it was a pretty decent Italian stop for the area. I'd say the best part had to be the drinks and the restaurant itself. I had a peach martini that was absolutely delicious, and the old, revamped house that the restaurant... More

My wife and I stopped for lunch. We sat outside in a little courtyard. We both had pasta dishes and they were very good. They also pour a very nice drink. The service was excellent. We've been here several times and the food and service are always excellent.

I love to start with their Bruschetta as primer for the meal, the bread is crispy and the tomato, basil and cheese are in the perfect proportion. The Insalata Caprese salad is fantastic. The cheese is fresh and flavorful and the vinaigrette has just the right amount of zing to enhance rather than overshadow the taste of the salad. Very... More

My husband and I went to Lucrezia to celebrate our 17th anniversary, and had a delicious, filling pasta meal. My spaghetti and house salad were very good. The setting in an old home is nice, and our busboy/asst waiter was excellent (waiter was fine but this young guy was excellent). Only issue was that they were out of Moscato d'Asti... More

Four of us were there for a late lunch on a Monday so it was not crowded. We sat outside on a perfect afternoon -- sunny but not hot. Food was very good; chicken with pasta and Alfredo sauce was well regarded. I had a good soup and tasty Caesar Salad with abundant real anchovies. (Probably one of the best... More

I hate to say it, because I like their food, but this is the second very bad experience I've had at the bar. The bartenders are unfriendly and seem annoyed that you're there. They never offered us a second glass of wine. On a previous occasion, it wasn't busy and they watched their phones the whole time. Offensive.

I agree that this is offensive! Thank you for letting us know. I hate when cell phones become more of a priority than a patron. We have a no cell phone policy at our Chesterton location. Maybe it's time to make that a policy in Crown Point too. I appreciate that you reached out to us, so we can make... More

The Restaurant is located in a large old Victorian house with seasonal indoor/outdoor dining. All main courses are solo and soup/salads are an additional charge. At 4 PM there were few patrons and the salads and main course took a rather long time to be served. Each of us had the wedge salad ($10), spaghetti with veal meatballs ($18) and... More

Food is getting less and less inviting...I use to dine here weekly...The Pasta specials are usually good and you can get 1/2 order if you wish to share more than one...Stuffed chicken Breast is also good if you like cheese.

We've been coming to Lucrezia for many years visiting both locations equally . The Crown Point location was our favorite during the summer because of their great outdoor patio . The food is always tasty and consistent at both places and definitely worth the trip. The service is good in Chesterton but depending on who you get can be a... More

Johnny, Thank you for your feedback. We don't want any "rude" waiters on our team. May I ask you to describe or give me the name of your server in Crown Point that lacks the interpersonal skills you described? More

We are a high energy Italian trattoria. Our service is more formal, but we are very casual. We have been voted #1 Italian Restaurant in NW Indiana for consecutive years. We make everything from scratch. Leave the passports at home and visit our Italian house!
